Very true

Just waiting for this OG 1 bubble to pop

This is a different monster entirely

>:

Good point let's hope the laser release is a good indication going forward that things will be attainable. But it probably won't be lol

After seeing what 2013s are moving at, you can scoop a pair of 85s or 94s actually save $$

:smh:

So Sad

and have them fall apart if you put them on feet and walk around

while dudes will defend they are indestructible, i cant invest into a 30 year old shoe, not even a 15 year old shoe

for the money, while the 13's arent the best id def buy those if i needed a pair. They are newer so they have a lot of life ahead of them.

85s are still going strong....

94s have atleast another 10 years in them after seeing 85s

by the time 94s fall apart (if ever) there will be another retro

idk... I would trust NT before anything but the sellers of shoes that old from my time say things like "shoe is not recommended for wear etc" but hey... what do I know... I love this shoe **** and hope we all flourish

That's just to relieve themselves of liability

I would say that **** about a pair released YESTERDAY if I was selling it, because I'm not trying to have anybody come back to me with a solitary grievance.

Original I's are absolutely fine, as many others have said.

Only issue is the collar or the rubber going bad.

The rubber this is probably 1/1000 odds of happening unless the shoe was intentionally stored wrong

The collar did cross my mind, but I don't really view that as an issue that impairs wearability. I thought of the rubber as well, but like you said it's definitely uncommon.

guarantee theres more wearable 85 1s than 99 IVs

This isn't even a fair contest

Outside of Is, VIIs, Xs, XIIIs, and one of two other models; most pairs from before maybe '04 are getting into that "no longer about that warfare" zone. Mainly the first half of the line, since most post-X models just need a reglue.

You talking about wearing them for another decade ? I understand that you didn't mean on a daily basis but still

People wear OGs after 30 years
That means 94s have another ten at least, more seeing as they fixed the collar issue
01s should last indefinitely outside damage to the swooshes.

I feel like we talk about this every three weeks

From the age of 15-33 I wore the same size and then my feet grew a whole size. Wiped out years of shoes I accumulated. Some of the stuff I wore a lot I was still able to wear, but stuff that was Ds or rarely worn just ain't fit anymore.

I laugh at dudes who think 85s will fall apart

I've rocked mine non stopped since I picked them up in 2013 and holding up stronger and better than my recent release Jordan 1s
