These prices come from the hype and from the ones who dont know quality and just stand in line like everyone else...i would like to know how many people here have both the 09s and 13s and truthfully how many would say the 13s are better quality....even the grey suede although a lighter color....is much better than the shadow grey on the 13s IMO

no doubt '09 quality is better, but I just prefer the '13 shadows. Pretty easy for me.

I agree the quality on the 09's is better, however I prefer the OG treatment on the 13's. It's all about preference imo.

I agree the quality on the 09's is better, however I prefer the OG treatment on the 13's. It's all about preference imo.

while i agree i love the look and OG'ness of the the 13's but for a low price id def take a pair of 2009 and beat em to the ground.

Retail? I'll be retired way before that happens. $160 for OG cw 1's is already pushing it.

I agree with most here. 09' Shadow's are very nice in terms of quality, but I prefer the 13's. However, if I come across a DS pair in my size for $250 or less, then I'd have to pull the trigger.
