But I'm not gonna go paint some AJ1's to look like some.. to each is own.

Sitting here till Aug for the Chi's to drop on NDC is wack

They'll prolly drop them before that with no notice and Bots will still Flourish.

Pinnacles are on my radar but who knows when those will drop either.

I won't front i thought about buying lasers and making custom Frags because i will never EVER pay what the market demands for them just out of pure principle.

Yep, which is exactly why I won't customize lasers to frags or royals. Just screams "I can't afford the real thing" as stupid as that may sound.

I get where you're coming from but as long as you don't try to pass it off as an original pair you should be able to do with them as you wish imo.

I don't like royals or frags so I wouldnt copy that cw anyway but def plan on doing a blk/red(my fav colorway) just off how they look on the laser detail.... & I have blk/red 1's ds & could afford resale if I chose to but its silly with 2013 & banneds. the laser detail makes me wanna do an entire og cw set not even the point of "resale being high" its just a good looking canvas to mess with

Part of the problem is there aren't really any good cw of 1s that are widely available or don't have insane resale. Even Black/Whites and Barons are ~$250 for resale. At least Lasers are widely available and allow you to develop your own nice cw if you're willing to put the time in it.

+1 yup the black lace swap is necessary. Esp. The gold tip bkack laces from the celtics. Im going to have to do that to one of my pairs. Picked up 2 for 95 each. I believe they went a bit lower too before they all got scooped up

Agreed. I have multiple Breds, Royals and Shadows, but I wouldn't mind all of them in Laser form. I'm making a pair this week, but in my favorite color, none of those.

i actually like the lasers. the only thing that kills it for me is the clear sole. i hate clear soles on anything other than 5s, 6s, and 11s.

This man speaks the truth. You lying to yourself if you dont think the og colorways dont look great on the Lasers. Just a dope combo. If JB made these out of the factory i bet they would go for more than the regular counterparts
