Didn't work for that $30,000 and plus I would never take advantage of a person willing to pay that much for a shoe, with that money they could do all of what you listed.  Anyway the moral of the story is that I treasure things don't care if it's a Melo, Sugar Ray, or MJ PE; they are meaningful and contain history.

Money comes and goes, memories stay forever.

The only memory he has is buying these shoes and putting them on his shelve though.

 It´s not that they are his personal PE given to him or something, it´s not even a game worn shoe, it´s just a special color. Not even a nice special color, something that would be hated on heavy if JB released them as a GR next month.

He may be lying about the 30k after all, but IF somebody offered me that much for a shoe like that they can have it, no problem.

I think jb is trying to make 1s the new aj11. Since they probably are running out of ideas with new cw 11s every holiday. They can absolutely give us one OG1 color way every holiday and bless us with a GR like the 11s have. The Melo slander is legitimate, he's one of my favorite nba players but his sole motivation is the dough.

When he chose to resign with the knicks knowing damn well they were going to have to rebuild while also taking a max contract, that move was only about the money.
