Had those Nouveaus in hand. Leather is a bit tough. The semi-iridescent ones are the best material-wise.

which iridescent ones are you talking about? if they are anything like the cool grey w/ gum soles i saw at DTLR then id be satisfied. leather was so soft n buttery.

I'm a fan of the nouveaus although I haven't mustered up the courage to buy a pair yet - they are definitely very rockable. I agree with @Piston Honda as far as the quality goes, the iridescent and the "suede" pairs as very nice IMHO. The leather ones are still better materials than your typical AJ1 mid though.

so are there a lot of OG 1 Head's here copped the 1.5 Chicago ?

share some thought on

Material

and

Fitting
I don't know what size you are but I wear a 13 and looking at the extension on that toebox has me laughing at what they would look like on my feet.

I didn't have any interest in these before they dropped and even less interest now.

I wear size 13..and a size 10 in the 1.5s fit me fine and look..pretty proportionate. I made a vid today in the store trying it on

I felt them yesterday and the pleather is softer than the Chicagos 1s. Especially around the ankle collar and toe box. But the shape of the shoe is hideous.

they do look like the right size too

man, thanks. This vid just made me skip out on these. I'm a skinny *** dude and size 11 already looks way big on me, can't imagine what a size 14 would be like.

Well..I think they look good in smaller sizes..that's why I made the vid..even though im a sz13..I saw how long the sneaker was..and I thought I could fit a sz 10 and I was right. MJ broke his foot and he returned wearing the 1.5 . When your foot is broken..you might have to have it in a cast..or some kinda walking boot. That's when I realized that the 1.5 does resemble a boot a lil bit..but it was to help accommodate MJ more as he got stronger I suppose. It's a unique sneaker and it's great for MJ collectors. And you may be able to size down a few sizes like I did

Anyways, change of conversation...

Question to anyone who owns the majority of the recent retros: Are the fragments the same quality or better compared to the SBBs and Chicagos? I know the SBBs toebox is way softer than the Chis but I'm talkin bout quality. Height, mold, glue, etc.

Mold is the same as Chis and I didn't see any quality issues on either pair as far as glue goes and leather is obviously better on SBBs

So the SBBs are softer than the Frags?
So they're essentially the same as the Chicagos then.

Nope didn't say anythng about the frags I've never had them in hand

SBBs leather quality was far better than the Chicagos

Yall got thoughts on these? I was thinking of picking them up but just some small details make them look awkward
