Does anyone know how the quality of the 2001 bred compares to the 2013?

I don't have the 2001 bred, but I have the 2001 Royal and the 2013 bred, so we'll use that for comparison purposes.
The 2001 height is slightly lower than the 2013.
The 2001 uses a nubuck swoosh.
The 01 leather panels are slightly better quality than the 13. Creasing looks a little nicer on the 01.
The 01 sole is quite a bit thinner than the 13, so comfort is slightly diminished.
The ankle padding on the 01 is very thick, as compared to the 13.
I would call it that the 2013 is more comfy, but the 01 is better quality. It's really kind of a wash to me as to which is better.
The new mold is better than both, I feel, in terms of overall comfort, shape, and quality.

I just bought a pair of 2001 breds off ebay. Now the number on the tag is out of 6000 something. I thought it was supposed to be out of 30000 something... are they fake?
