Eh.. I doubt it. B/Red was the same way in '13 so I expected as much.. still got 1 at retail both times. Also got 1 SBB at retail and black toe is along the lines of Chi imo..

You'll have to put in work, but they won't even remotely compare to a B/Red or Royal release.

i assumed you were referring to copping from foot sites, because i NEVER rely on online anymore. i'll try the snkrs draw or whatever, but that's it. i'm 99% more successful putting in the leg work and picking up raffle tickets and all that. the only time i got lucky online was when EB randomly dropped the black 750s. oh, and one pair of asics on kith way back when.

nike should offer a premium membership option where they will reserve 2-3 sneakers of your choice per month for $xx.xx. only one account per CC PERIOD. that would cut down on resellers and bots immensely. unless these resellers want to open 100 credit cards just to buy shoes. hell, nike can even charge me at the beginning of every month for the retail price of the shoe and then send it to me on RD.

Indeed. Pretty soon bots will be phased out of the game only to sink in the abyss. Greedy resellers or "greedy speculators," as it was described in the NY Daily News article, will search for a new type of hustle.

There are tons of people who can easily pay the $350-400 aftermarket price tag for these Bred 1s. But why should those people cave in and give these bot using resellers the satisfaction when they don't deserve it?

If people would only be patient and not cave in and instead set aside their impulse gratification tendencies and realize that these Bred 1s are a hyped up luxury not a necessity, consumers would have the last laugh and resellers would be forced to sell their sitting stock at damn near close to retail.

Best believe the reseller will not get a penny over $200 from me for these hyped up Bred 1s.

Can't wait til all footsites begin implementing online draws similar to what Nike is doing. Couple by what Congress is doing, bots will be a thing of the past sooner than later.

That's a really good idea.

If it becomes criminal people will still use them but it will cut down on it a lot depending on enforcement...

Oh best believe the human factor will put an end to bots. Nike already did, the footsites will follow. Be patient.
Has Nike put an end to bots?....its further integrated its stock system making web and mobile based exploitation inevitable. captcha was suppose to be the human element needed to make playing fields leveled -- and that hasn't slowed bots down.

any standard online checkout process can be hacked and manipulated. we have to get down to simple cause and effect. the web is wide open. start at the bottom, do not allow multiple purchases with the same credit card. make everything a drawing, again one purchase per CC. its really not THAT hard to phase out the resellers/bots. the problem is that these companies are not proactive enough and don't really care who purchases what. at the end of the day, they sold the product.

Yup, this. Even though I have yet to win one, I'd actually be OK if every footsite went with some sort of draw for their high demand releases. Only SMS verified accounts with linked credit cards can enter, along with some additional rules to manage multiple entries. Would really hit the bots hard.

Nike controls so much of the sneaker market its unbelievable.. They aren't trying to phase out bots
If they ain't tryin to phase out the bots and the resellers, what will eventually happen is that UA's will get better and better and those that lose out on retail pairs will purchase from factories that make UAs which are identical to retail pairs.

Nike will then be forced to make enough supply to meet demand and this is what will phase out the resellers. Or what Nike can do is to constantly make pairs where, for example, the Bred 1s (or any other hot release for that matter) will drop multiple times throughout the year instead of once every 3-4 years.

problem is everybody got differrent amounts of bread. ppl who want to spend big $$$$ on anything they want will set the record unless theres millions of ppl who will spend only retail.

basically the rich (no damn on $ spent) will keep resellers in business

I take it all you guys coming up with improvements came out with a L. Sall g but y'all need to pay that resell now before it hits 400+

Anyone remember Nike at the chi release citing "commitment to fairness"?
Wonder where that commitment went.
Without hype and bots and all that crap, you'd be able to mosy into a foot locker and casually buy your size on a Tuesday.
