It just depends on the scenario fam. For example, I have 4 pairs of White Cement 3's (my favorite shoe ever). I wear that shoe more than any other shoe I own so I go through pairs faster than others. I need multiples on hand because I wear them out due to major usage. 

I see no point in hoarding kicks that you will never rock. Now that I don't get.

I didn't mean to get people upset.  I was watching shoezeum on Youtube and talking the value of kicks with my mom.  We were watching the video where he goes over the different variations of BRed 1s.  My mom asked why did he keep buying the same shoe over and over, so that got me thinking.  In his case he is a collector so to have every BRed 1 ever released makes sense.

In some people cases @UncleRukus   and even @Zyzz I get what you are saying.  Jordan and Nike have created a situation where people don't know when they will ever see there favorite colorway of a sneaker again, so in that type of situation it is human nature to horde or stock up like people do when they expect a storm to come into town.

However, sometimes it feels like people are buying the same shoe just because they can.  Which is sad.  They see reseller pics and want the rush of owning that many pairs too?

Who knows the truth though?  Which is why I asked the question hoping to hear honest answers.   

In my defense, I have to remember that every persons situation and usage is different from my own.

You should try to seek out a pair of 01 just to have a little variety.  With four pairs of 13s that's a good look.  You would still have 3 and you know the remastered pair is coming in the near future.

I like 13's better than the '01 pair honestly. But if I had 4 pairs of 13's why not grab a DS pair of 01's. Crazy you can get DS 01's cheaper than 13's.

I have 94 black/reds, got them DS for 450.

They are the best 1 mold and also better than the recent joints, as well as 2001

I prefer the '01 vs '13 because the toebox is shaped better imo, the color pops more, and of course the leather quality is superior. The pros of last year's pairs is the leather swoosh & of course they're newer so they'll hold up longer but I'd still take a DS 2001 > 2013.

If someone was really willing to pay $1,000 I'd throw my DS pair at them in a second.  I really hope people don't start paying those type of numbers, thats just crazy.
