this i only have 1 pair of black toes, shadows, royals, and black/reds |I happy to have all of them tho. the only pairs of Is i want are Knicks, Hares and Banned Is even tho those are hard to find or too expensive in a size 13
These pics are making me sad. Nice collections tho

hares are tough to find ds i waited around 2-3 years to find them again

I'm thinking it would be cool if JB brings the hare Is back for the hare VII retro. and knicks can be found for $200-$250 range just haven't jumped on anything yet. and I'm just dreaming of copping the banneds

Thanks bro, I appreciate the kind words. Yeah, paying up for them did suck, but I couldn't pass because it was my size. I got a decent deal on one (VNDS), and paid market for the other (DS). So overall, the average across both wasn't bad.
Honestly though, at the end of the day my collection of 1s ended up being free. Just a flip here and there when I got lucky with landing a pair of exclusive kicks at retail (Lebron Corks, DB Foams, Supreme Foams, etc...). No bots, just a lot of research and luck. If I were in the market for some black golds right now, i'd try to pick up some What The Lebrons on RD (if in fact they do come out) and flip quick or use as trade bait.

for some reason they weren't being held in the carts like they usually do

@BRSantana I'll probably give into getting a pair in future. Just cant really see myself dropping 1K+ on some kicks. I was lucky enough to get my Royals as a gift from my friend for handling a bunch of sneaker deals for him back when they were going for $350. My girl got me the Shadows for xmas since we struck out on getting a pair of Breds for retail. So I had to cough up the cash for Breds.

Seems like you got a good circle of people. Yeah I bit the bullet on the DS pair and really lucked out on the VNDS for $750. Took a bit of convincing myself, but am happy I did it. Back then, the time I spent searching for reasonably priced legit pairs had begun to get out of control. My time was better spent just taking my chances on RD for exclusive kicks and paying market price for Black/Gold & Royals. Was lucky enough to grab everything else at retail via online, local raffle, and RSVP.
It helps too if you are not attached to some kicks in your collection. Most people have 3 or 4 pairs of sneakers that are worth $250 or $300 and will never make it into their rotation. I'd rather have 1 grail over 3 or 4 semi limited shoes any day. But that's just me.

i could care less about limited or not id rather have the shoes i want and rock them all without needing doubles to clog up my closet and never make the rotation, unless i want to make a shoe a beater it never becomes one so multiples are never needed IMO especially with 1s since they are tanks and look better distressed than DS anyways

Yaw really need to follow kicksdeals, thanks to their tweet, I scooped up a white Lance Mountain SB pair in my size this AM... I was unable to scoop a black pair though...

I def had the same issue where the kicks didn't stay in cart for long... I had to re-add to cart after I was unable to get through the first time.. It def caught me off guard... Glad you cooked fam!
Was glad to just check out ASAP...
Been wanting the white pair for FOREVER...
Now I don't feel as bad having to look for a black pair at resale...
