That doesn't really sound like a useful comparison.

am i the only one who likes when the sole yellows on the breds? it gives them character more, to me

i love my straps because of the yellow tint

Yeah its a pretty crazy mix, I like it. Think I saw somewhere that the Cortez is one of fragment's favorite original nike designs. Paying tribute.
Ld1000 is the actual shoe it is paying tribute to.

But of course you all knew this because you are such donzzz of the sneaker world.

So next time you guys wanna rip on some noob for asking a (to you jordan 1 godzzz) a silly question- remember this

no...

there are legit collectors/seller on taobao but prices are pretty much same if not more than what they go for on resell market here

Remember what?? Here is one of the few articles that only mention the Cortez and not the Ld1000... Such a HUUGE MISTAKE...

http://www.sneakerfreaker.com/sneakers/fragment-x-nike-roshe-ld-1000-sp/

I was just continuing on a conversation with someone else who mentioned the Cortez, nothing more. I decided to stay on the subject of Cortez's and research other articles. Like I said, there is also another article about the new Roshes that says the Cortez is one of Fujiwara's favorite designs so that's where my statement came from. The way the article was worded, it seemed that he was somewhat paying tribute to the design, but obviously LD-1000 is written in the shoe model name and therefore that is likely what the new roshe is mostly modeled after. Doesn't take a genius to think that the LD-1000 played a part bro (I actually included the model in my first post).. All anyone has to do is just read the model name.

If you really think that is a major screw up on my part, awesome. I'm fine with it and I won't hate on any of your future posts. I'm not really the type of person to hold a grudge, never mind rip on a noob for a simple mistake. However it seems that you are quick to rip on someone. I have answered legit checks, TTS questions, and provided more help to this thread than most. I also only deal in fact and when I have an opinion, I state that it is my opinion and not the rule of the land. Everyone is entitled to their own and there are no Jordan Gods here...

Want to show me up? Do it by adding good content. The only thing ill remember here is the fact that I wasted my time actually responding to this. Enjoy the attention because it will probably never happen again.

Nice essay- apologies if you took offence- should have clarified this was not intended to diss you directly- was more a general comment regarding the endless ill informed posting that goes on in this thread in particular- and the narrow minded-ness and lack if knowledge dropped.

Further evidence not to straight up trust what blogs are saying- the fact that the link title even mentioned ld1000 should've given some indication.

I'm just trying to get some if you to realise there's a big wide world outside of jordan retros and Lebrons and Kobe's and kds.

I think that is arguably a greater contribution than 'pizza party' or incorrectly labelling shoes.

Peace [emoji]9996[/emoji]️

If you think that is an essay, you need to get educated.

I typically only post facts or links to sources to add to the conversation. Don't think that is ill informed at all.

No mention by you of a world outside of jordan retros, Kobe's, etc so I have no idea where you pulled that one from. If you want people to realize it, you should probably start saying something about it. Either way, wouldn't be much of a contribution here because this thread is called AJ1 for a reason.

Sorry for another long essay..

OG Fam can I ask you for an advice, the thing is that all my AJ1 are size 9.5US TTS, even all my other J's are size 9.5US except for the AJ6 which is 9US.

Now the AJ1's are killing my left small toe so much, that I can only wear them comfortably in less than 3 hours, after that I have to remove the shoe or bear the excruciating pain.

Should I go up for size 10US?

anyone experience the Severe pain while wearing the J1's

For severe pain weaing the 1s:  I think your feet might not used to wearing flat surface sole.  AJ1 is an old technology since '85.  There isn't any advance sole build around the retro 1.  IMO, you need to wear 1s consistent until your feel mold and shaped for the shoe.  Put it this way, you can hold a wrench a day and may complain while construction worker use them daily with ease.  As for few of us (not speaking for everyone), wearing Converse so many year is like walking barefoot or wearing near to nothing at all.  So AJ1 is ultimately an upgrade.

For your toe: Are you using any Shoe Shield or Shield Force? If so, remove them.  Just let 1s crease itself because it look best that way.  If not, then I think you might have uneven foot which left foot tend to spread out like duck feet (wider at top).  Nothing wrong with this because not everyone have perfect foot and alignment.  Even MJ himself wear two different sizes for his normal game play.

I have done this in the past:  If you go half size bigger and replace the sole pad with SB pad (practically the same form), it should give you some foot relieve.  Best of luck and let's wait for other member responses. I'm sure there's much more recommendation. LOL

Fam thank you so much for a detailed explanation and advise bro, repped! and God Bless you.

I think after work, ill go in the mall to try the size 10US Jordan 1 Mid. J1 as a flat shoe is fine with me I can cope with that, the toe is my main concern and for a sad reason, I won't be able to get an OG Trinity for a good price in size 10, because most of my OG's were bought for SRP, :frown: sad for me I won't be able to get the same price again.

Yes I'm also alright with the creases and I never bought a sneaker shield.

So I guess going up half size up is my solution so my little toe on the left will not be in pain.

Once again thank you bro.

^ Your welcome and glad that I could put some useful input together for you.  Hope you'll find your solution.

I think some here have somehow stretched the toe box on their ones just enough where it wont rub the pinky toe. Not sure about the process though. Hope someone can chime in. If only your Breds rub bad (has the smallest toe box of the 2013s), I would try that process. If it happens pretty badly across all models, then maybe try to half size up.

I am a 9.5 as well and have tried a sz 10 High OG. The .5 size bigger is too big of a jump for me, but it may work for you. Also know that Mids may fit different than OG Highs, but I could be wrong. I remember trying to size up for the 2013s by using Mid Phats and they did feel different to me. As hard as it may be, try to find a less popular High OG for fitting. Good luck..

As for worrying about not getting the trinity for the price you had before, don't worry so much. You have all three so that means you have some control over how much it will cost you. You can basically sell your pairs for the same amount you buy for (DS for DS, VNDS for VNDS). Just make sure you don't pay over market price for either condition, and then you should be ok. You can also try to swap, but that will be much harder.
