Most of my friends are passing on these and only want Royals lol. I really hope the low top 1's don't get hyped up next year but that's wishful thinking.

People still dnt have love for Jordan 1s. I remember being one of a handful of people who copped the Knicks, Chicagos, then Royals the next month.

Kid y'all not nobody was even trying to cop the Royals when given the opportunity. After the Blk Toes were somewhat of a flop for resellers OG 1s after that, aside from Breds, were easy to get. Mind you im in the epicenter of hype LA where everything sells out.

But then again everyone loves 1s all of a sudden. So who knows.

QFT. When JB bastardizes the 1's and all your royals, breds, shadows, etc. will lose resale value, I want to see who still loves them and keeps em.

I met a dude who regrets selling his shadows. Said he was never a fan of the fit or the colorblocking but then says "he grew to like them". Mighty convenient huh?

Word. AJ 1's are a third of my Jordan collection now with the edtion to most of the OG highs and a few mids from the last couple of years. JB has been on a role with the 1 with better colorways and good materials. Even though I didn't cop that many, I like what they been doing with the nouveau mids also. Between 07'-10' it was to many ups and downs. You'll have a few good releases then a slew of crap or good colorway and crap materials and EVERYTHING had a jumpman. All the jumpman highs with shin guard for tounges. :x The one real plus from those years it was cheaper and hella easier to get releases.

i agree, i was cheap at the time. first i passed because of the Toro IV. my brother ended up getting lucky on RD with a guy not picking up a pair. In SE Michigan shados were all gone. Soon as he brought his pair home i feel in love a AF1 hooked your boy up for barely over retail. wish i had another pair.

I was hooking EVERYBODY up. Might be able to do the same with these Wht/Blacks. I won't know till Thursday.

For me it started back in 01' with the navy/white/silver mid. I love blue and this colorway was a homerun in my book. I felt the same way with these as my very first true Jordan love the OG flint 13 which was blue also. The very first time I saw those 1's was a kid that got on the A train when I used to live in Far Rockaway. He was on the train to last stop as I was and I couldn't stop staring at them. I was on mission from then to try and find them in my size, but to no avail.:\ It wasn't until 04' when a co-worker put me on to Flightclub when they first opened up on Green St. He told me check them, they might have them. Sure enough they had 1 pair and they were DS my size 11 at the time and let's just say it was also the first someone had their way with my wallet, LOL!! The rest is history.

 yeah I also missed out on the breds, but someone traded me 2 breds for 1 royal, so I guess sometimes holding on to some extra pairs really helps later on

i dont care about hype or how much my shoes are worth, i wish they made enough pairs for everybody and if resale was slightly above $200 i wouldnt be mad but people are nuts charging 500-700 for a new release jordan 1 that cost nothing to make.

this. i regretted passing on the knicks I at the time. didn't see myself wearing them that often but when i saw on feet pics and people swapping the orange laces with blue made me want to get a pair
