What would be a price to pay for shadows that would be looked at as a good price. I'd hate to fork over 400+ . since I've bought 85s and 2001 releases for that and less

Lol it's funny you mention those. I actually just copped both this past Friday. Black Toes for 192 shipped and Shadows for 385 shipped. Both DS. I've never dropped more than 250 on a single pair of kicks before but I had recently sold a whole bunch of other kicks so I had some extra cash to spare. It seems like most pairs of Shadows are going for right around the $400 range. And that's funny because I remember on release day, no one was going for them (at least in my area) because the Toro 4s dropped on the same day. Now the Shadows are right up there with Breds and Royals in terms of their rarity lol. Crazy how much the NA tag hype has changed things

I got a guaranteed ticket last year for the shadows and was gonna pass ,let the deadline pass to pick them up and everything ,changed my mind 3hours after the deadline walked in they were still there .
glad I bought them for retail with the prices they are going for now i dodged a bullet

Shadows did drop with little fanfare. They came out somewhere in summer if i remember. When the breds came out in Dec some 1s went up but the shadows did the most and everyone seemed shocked. Soon talk of the "trinity" then the hype and it left everyone scrambling for shadows 6+ months after release. Thats a bad time for alot of folks to scrounge for a limited shoe.
