I love '85s and you can't beat an OG, but unless your cash flow allows it, I wouldn't recommend getting them to wear. They won't crack like PU midsoles but the rubber gets hard and dries out. I hate getting sneakers to display but folks gotta think long term on some of this stuff if you wanna keep them.

'01s are great and the colors pop like crazy but they're 13 year old shoes and age and time can be damaging.

Do you think '94 retros are wearable? I'm thinking about buying a pair. They are in pretty good condition, but have been worn.

The '94s are probably the most nostalgic to me. They were the first retro release which led to the sneaker culture that we know today. The only down side of the pair I'm looking at is they don't have the box. That's not usually a big deal for me with newer releases, but I would like to have the box that came with these.

the only thing that made me sell me 94s was the ankle collar was too stiff, i mean, way too stiff. 01 shape is a problem to me, 13 leather is the problem. hope the remastered chicagos will be perfect all around.

Banned's are sexy but I would easily take a DS pair of '85's over them

i would do this in a sec. 

being that my banneds wont see the light of day, i would not mind having a true OG, deadstock at that, would be incredible. 

and as far as the remastered 1's go...i can easily see JB flood us with low 1's in 2015...still think we'll see the metallics though

I think the Banneds are more sought after than the '85s. They're newer and will hold up longer. I would throw $400 at them, but I've come to accept that's a deal that I'll never find:\

Best price I've found on a used pair was $650. I negotiated the ebay seller down from $750, but before I sealed the deal somebody hit his buy it now.

You not getting the 85 or 94 leather quality anymore. My 94's are still kicking. That 85 leather is nuts. My Banneds just sit in the box wore them like 2x.
