people are salty because they wanted them but know they gotta save up for the columbias, frags, and the patones. if you didn't like them and passed, moved onto the next one. no need to fill this thread with hate about 1 shoe.
i personally copped knowing they'd look clean with some gold/gum colored laces and some fitted dark washes.

I don't understand why it is so hard for people to comprehend that some just don't like the black/gums.. The name calling and assumptions about financial situations are just ridiculous. If anything, thats what this thread shouldn't be filled with.
I myself don't care for em, my all matte black LMs basically fill the void and have a white midsole which is what I prefer. Granted its not gum bottom, but I'll live. Onto the frags...

Passed on them in the morning, passed at my local shop. Found a 20$ dollar platinum reward that was about to expire while cleaning my car, hit up hoh to see if they had any unclaimed pairs. Walked out for a tad under retail. Glad i did

i didn't like them very much and passed. i can see the appeal though. just too many other shoes coming out to worry about.

Anyone buying multiple made in China, $200 Jordans every month (most of NT'ers from my observation) and not passing up in order to maximize their financial potentials on future releases is why most sneakerheads I know struggle financially. I've been salty many times of having to pass up on doubling up or missing releases altogether to save up money for a big one. I just saw a vid of 50 cent at flight club with all that money passing up shoes and complaining about the prices.
smh....same people who preach passing retro releases and they're the ones posting 5 pgs of confirmation/shipment questions haha. ****....its a forum, it thrives on free speech with few regulations by mods, but a reiteration of dismay for 1 shoe becomes a hate thread instead of one with substance.

You mean where you assumed that people didn't cop the shoes, and then assumed that they are therefore salty about not being able to cop, due to saving money for future releases, which is another assumption on top of the first two? Or the part where you assume people with money should buy anything at whatever amount of money its offered at. Im tired of people implying when i dont care for a certain cw of a shoe that is the same just different colors.most of us in here have multiple pairs of ones so why s**t talk cause some of us (maybe most) dont care for them all black. I swear some people only go fanboy over a shoe just because it was easy to get and makes em feel like they won the Proverbial "sneaker game" or something.

I doubt many in here will be getting many of those retros you mentioned. However, complaining or getting excited about each release is what this thread is all about. Only a handful of OG Nike Air branded 1 styles have dropped in the last year and a half. Some have loved them, some have hated them. That's what keeps this thread going. A lot of the in between time is filled with rumors and speculation on what will come out next.
