I think a lot of people were betting on the Melo's being released today and figured they'd grab them with the 11's or as a consolation and some people slept on some of the better prices online.  

I went to the mall to pick up another pair today using the birthday coupon and literally saw 3 other people buying them or in their bags.  When people see these on display they aren't like "Oh those are Melos" or "Oh I don't like the Melo tag instead of the Nike Air" or "Oh they used nubuck instead of leather". Most people are like oh those are dope. Let me grab a pair. Due to the way Nike released these so spotty I think these will be one of the more coveted Jordan 1's in a year or so...especially if they never "Officially" release them.

Im not saying this to scare people, but I am saying this for people who are passing of them in hopes of Fragments or in lieu of LB 11s...get these while you can-if you can- for still a price lower than the 1's will be next year. The way I've seen these on display at multiple spots has made me smile. It reminds me of the good ol days where people were buying j's because they really liked them.

too much going on in this thread, they should have a melo thread, and maybe someday they can hype them melo to the royal level.

I don't think people are trying to hype them. I think IF AND ONLY IF Nike doesn't have an official release for these then they will certainly rise in price. If the Shadows sat and now people are saying they're apart of a "shoe trinity" then yeah, the price of these will rise. That's just the reality of the sneaker community now. Yall actin like these some Jordan Lab 1's or something. Lol. These are easily worth $200 or less.

im not arguing with you bruh, these sitting. shadows are a different story, and these does not have resell value at all, the only ppl that were selling them was taking advantage of some ppls stupidity.

These ain't leather so that's why they sitting. Add to it the tongue isn't OG and the jumpman on the heel gave cats every reason to pass.

I have yet to see a GS pair in person. I'd love to find a PS pair. Seems only mom & pops got them.

Was able to buy a pair of Melos at a local FTA. I went to two HOH. One had both the Melo and CP3s. They didn't have my size in the Melos and I'm not interested in the CP3 or Blake Griffins. The next only had the Griffins, possibly selling out of the Melos. I think the Melos would've sold out quicker if it weren't for the amount of stuff Nike is dropping, specifically the XIs, Gift of Flight Pack, Volt Foams and XMAS pack.

The Melos are definitely nicer than the Black Gums. Just wish we could've gotten the NA instead of the ridiculous signature athlete logo.
