I don't think people are trying to hype them. I think IF AND ONLY IF Nike doesn't have an official release for these then they will certainly rise in price. If the Shadows sat and now people are saying they're apart of a "shoe trinity" then yeah, the price of these will rise. That's just the reality of the sneaker community now. Yall actin like these some Jordan Lab 1's or something. Lol. These are easily worth $200 or less.

And these arent either. Thats my point. I dont consider shoes selling out within 48 hrs "sitting". Every single spot I've been to are out of stock within 24-48hrs and thats with the LB 11's releasing. Step outside of NT. There's more actual non-hype demand for these than you think. Look at Nike's twitter mentions.

Regardless, I could care less about resell. I'll be rocking mine on my birthday. I was just trying to help NTers out. If you want them...get them now. Unless Nike does a real release I dont see the price getting better.

The Melos/CP3s just came out so the speculation is irrelevant. Not saying these are going to become sought after shoes. They could end up as sought after as:

1) Shadow 1s
2) Chicago/Knick 1s
3) Highlight Reel/Laney 1s

I don't think it's fair to compare them to Shadow 1s. Those did sit. I was able to buy two pairs two weeks after they released in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They were just sitting there. They were overshadowed (badum, dum) by the Toro 4s and it was also before the 1 hype generated after the Breds released.

The Melos are going to fly under the radar due to the Columbia release. That's like the biggest or second biggest sneaker release of the year.

Buy the shoe if you want them if not keep it moving until the Fragments.

I will be honest, I copped today (with ease) but this is probably my least favorite colorway in that particular color blocking.

I already try to keep gold colored shoes to a minimum for personal reasons but these did look really nice.

I def don't think they will do numbers like shadows but I do think they will increase in value just because of the blocking etc.

It also happens to be a really nice shoe.

Not even an attempt to hype up the Melos but they will def raise in price im sure. I for one copped,regardless of a Nike Air logo. Very clean in person!

It is good color-blocking, but the Melo and Jumpman logos make them less desirable/valuable.

Sorry I saw them in person. They don't look attractive at all. Especially the cp3.

Only sneaker die hard enthusiasts who care about the NA detail would care.

Trust me, the jumpman on the back of the Jordan 6 Slam Dunk retro didn't affect the sales of a nice, new execution of a classic.

I do agree that the logos were pointless. What they should've done was maybe put their signatures on the insoles.

And again, speculating on prices is pointless at this point. We'd have to wait until possibly six months later. Shadows didn't blow up in price in August 2013. It was after the Breds dropped on the last week of December 2013 that the prices started to climb.

Black and Gold is a nice combo. I really can't hate on the color way. I'd probably nitpick the black shiny leather on the Black Gums more.

I'd agree on the CP3. I saw them twice today and they were lackluster. The CP3 and Blake Griffins are odd colors. They probably should've went for the Clipper home and away colors (or the colors of the high schools they played for).

Im with you on this one.. I just want to find a pair... People don't care about the logos because even with the 11's dropping they still managed to sell out at the stores i went to and i can't find them online at all.. At least for retail...
