the melo colorway just doesn't match, same w/ CP. they slap on the tongue logo and call it a PE.. not good enough.

the cps are trash. at least the melos have the same color blocking as the og cws. thats one of the main reasons i like them. if the color blocking was any different, i wouldve passed.

Do you guys think I'd be able to find someone who would swap shadows for DS legend blue 11s. I'm seriously on some retiring from anything that isn't a Jordan 1 at this point...

Well i would prefer to wear these f&f with shorts, but sigh not allowed at work.
I agree they look funny with jeans, but they are super comfortable for walking from my parking garage. It's a struggle to give each pair some time in the rotation.

I love how people refuse to get something just cuz it's not an og colorway. There have been plenty of new colorways across retro models that look really nice. If I see something I like I'm going to get it, regardless if mj put them on his feet or not

Melo's have that buck side panel, while the gums one are just dreadful and stiff. That being said, being an all black shoe does mean that its easy to rock with almost everything.

I think everybody takes in to consideration the similarities of the shoes they're looking to buy and the ones they already have. I know I do, but if I had to decide between the two shoes mentioned I would definitely go with the Melos. The gums look like a girls shoe to me. The wife picked up a pair and I like them, but I couldn't pull them off.

I wouldn't say they were the same color though, that's why I said they are two different shoes pretty much. One is pretty much all black. But I understand what you're saying I guess.

I can't lie to you fam...I've been hunting these down for years!
I'm not trying to put labels on any shoe in particular, but the shiny panels on the gums seem to be slightly feminine. If they would've come in a solid black tumbled upper like those Japan joints I would have copped.
