This is just my humble opinion, but #2-7 are just nonsense that Jordan created to give "value" to the shoe, if you can call it that.  It's called creating marketability for an already existing product. It's actually great marketing and great market research to understand the Jordan consumer blindly see's minute changes as "special".

To simplify it, nicer leather material is probably the most important aspect of the the AJ1 Banned.  Everything else detailed is superfluous and is presented to the consumer to visualize added "value".

In no way am I trying to disprove your points as they are the actual differences, but I don't see those differences justifying triple or more of the resale price of regular Bred 1's.

It's not nonsense bcuz whether you like it or not, the Banned 1 is a collector's item. This is how it works with collector's items in any field. That's just the name of the game.

I'm sure they are considered by many to be a collector's item, but the point I'm getting at is that it's probably more subjective than objective in terms of the value of the shoe. I understand because I work with retailers and brands in the industry and we add these things to give the consumer a sense of specialty and they usually buy into it.  Who doesn't like a different box or more laces or some logo design added on.  We're not trying to reinvent the wheel, just make it seem cooler.

Yeah I finally got my shipping confirmation for the GS too. That took forever. Smh.
I like mids and even own a few, but a mid ID would be wack and just sit unless there was a glow or clear sole or animal print option. Give us a high ID and the world would go crazy. I know I would. Jumpman or not...I don't care. To have my name on a pair of black/pink 1's would be everything.
