What is the best denim cut (in your, or anyone in this threads opinion) for 1s?

I'm using Levis 513 which are perfect when you first put them on but lose their damn shape and snugness after a couple hours. I was thinking about picking up fitted raw denim but not sure having never purchased it before. And I can't do denim joggers because I'm 30 years old.

i bought the new 501 cut. The CT (customized & tapered) They fit well for my 1s. I dont stick my jeans behind the tongue but they are still tapered enough to show off my shoe just slightly and perfectly going over the tongue. If that makes any sense.

Usually try to buy tapered fit now. Makes 1s look nice when the pants are slim. I think that probably goes for all shoes though.

Do you wear them rolled at the bottom like the pictures show on their website?

I just picked up some raw denim, but I haven't rocked it with any AJ1s. Well I did wear them with the Phats I posted over the weekend. I am waiting for them to fade before I start wearing them with my lighter colored 1s.

Not a fan of raw denim.

Like my jeans to have a nice wash to em or murdered out (black).

Also I like my jeans skinny :pimp:

I got some PRPs in December that are pretty fitted with a mean wash to them. I like fitted denim, but I also like being comfortable. I don't really rock with the *** huggers. I don't want to go back to rocking Girbauds or Vokal, but I have to have a little breathing room. This is my first pair of raw denim, and I like the idea of them fading to you not coming off the rack that way. I've had some shrink to fit 501s that were somewhat "raw", but I didn't go the same route with them. From what I've read you shouldn't wash raw denim for at least 6 months.

I can't do skinny anymore. My calves and thighs won't allow it

I used to rock em them tho. Mostly wear slim-straight fits now.

Some go longer pending on the look you want.

I go about 5-6 months then a soak.

I feel you. I got back in the gym after the holidays, and I feel like I'm going to bust a seam on those PRPs after leg day. Tapered is the way to go if you're shooting for some toned quads. I got chicken legs from the knee down though.

I'll def look into that. Yeah I'd be able to work with skinny fit with quads alone, I just can't get them past my calves lol.

Side note: I've been on the hunt for NYC 1s size 10.5 but haven't seen a price I'm willing to pay just yet. How do they look with the regular black laces?

It's all about that boot cut you lames :pimp:

Naw I get skinny as well but size up so they aren't tight on my thighs/calves but still have the effect on the opening

it's crazy how styles go full circle. I remember wearing Cotiler and Bugle Boy with elastic at the bottom, like those in the pic, in junior high back in the late 80s

"I'm hearing we will get remastered Royals this year.....

Because Jordan makes a retro of their shoes and they said they would make leather that feels better."

"That's what I hear tho."

Kinda funny how most of the people would fall for that, get hyped and be disappointed when they learn those aren't real
