I like the '09s better. I just noticed that they had a rip stop tongue today. Not everything has to be an exact copy of the originals.

I always tell people 09 Shadows > almost anything that dropped in '13 in terms of quality. I am always glad I doubled up on those. I passed on 2013 shadows because I still had a DS pair of 09s to run around with.

Sucks that resell is so high now though. I probably won't get another pair til JB decides its time for a retro again.

Yeah that elephant print wasn't really a big deal and isn't noticeable while wearing.

I remember Shadows and Laker (strap) 1s actually released same day but I rarely ever see people with the Lakers.

It's all good fam. I'd rather be an individual with his own opinion than another sheep in the herd. I beat my first pair of '13 Shadows though. They were expendable to me since I had a back up, but the '09s are drying up and prices are rising too.

Even the 2013 retro sat around my way as well.

Surprisingly they also sat at Sports Lab in Tokyo. I've heard that the biggest marketplace for 1s before the Kanye debacle was out in Japan.
