Question. are the tongues a little different from colorway to colorway on some of the newer OG models. Felt a few differences yesterday and got nervous. Some of them feel a little more thin. And the royals don't feel like they're nylon. More cloth like. I'm almost sure they're legit, but why is that?

Yeah the tongues differ on the OG 1's. I'm not sure why they do it like that though.

well the color opposite of orange on the color wheel is blue so jeans with a blue shirt and these go well and this is a clean orange shoe not that loud 8 with orange on it

Yeah that's actually my profession (industrial design) so I know that they are complimentary colors, thing is i'm a FSU fan, so I can't be wearing Orange and Blue 

 Still gonna get them though, maybe to do a custom or something.

Whats weird to me is from CW to CW some of the tongues are different. Like the tongue on the royals are different than the B/W. The B/W's are more "nylon-like",like the material really feels like nylon.

You're right. Love the tongues from the Banned's and Knick's the best. Wish they use that tongue.

I know it's been mentioned by many, but damn, something about that mold. It feels like any color would look good when they use it. I hope they stick with it forever.

Yeah it looks exactly like the frags. I love that mold it's awesome

I can see them making the toe box clear to represent a glass backboard and killing it completely.

ah i see and that makes total sense, i like sports but i couldnt care less about teams i dont play for or never played for honestly but its nice to have a passion, i think these are super clean which means i probably will not have a chance at retail

Not sure why everybody already came to the conclusion that these will be hard to get without any solid information.

In the last two years since 1s hype hit, only 2 have been hard to come by and those were the Royals & Frags. I'm not including regional or overseas releases like the black/gold, NYC, or Gym Red 1s. Other than that every other 1 has been obtainable.
