lol people aren't even willing to pay slightly below retail for a pair of lasers, i would hate to mess up customizing one pair and having to buy another pair.

There are companies that dye soles for you. Painting the leather doesn't seem like extremely tough work, just angelus paint and crap tons of patience. I would send the inner lining and tongue to be worked by professionals as well. 

I was looking on his website and he would charge $200 atleast, because that's his starting price. I feel like I would paint the leather, just not dye anything properly. If anyone has any tips, PM me fam

still good to admire them tho. I personally like them because when I was in high school, I had 2 pairs of SBTG Nike dunk SB lows. 

If we can admire the custom CNY 1's, these can be appreciated too lol.

BTW, this pic confirms that it will come with the NA box, if that hasn't been confirmed already. Seen a debate going on if it was going to come in the 30th Anniversary box.

I said that because if you decide to make these your 1st attempt at customizing, you might as well buy two pairs off the bat! LOL. Your learning curve on painting a swoosh or toebox is one thing, but gut rehabbing the whole shoe is another...

Just curious if anybody was familiar with the alphas and their fit? Are they comfortable or would they just be a waste of my money lol

Hate to say it but if Black and Whites sold out in your area on RD then I might think about taking the preorder route.  I found a preorder for $260 the other and think i'll be jumping on that for a backup pair.

I don't think selling out quick was the issue... I truly believe the SF area got shortened when it came to the BWs.

ahhh okay, understandable. Luckily for me, I'm in a small area in Upstate NY that is just big enough to get some good releases but not too big that its impossible to get your hands on a pair.
