FCNY def has leaks, not every shop is perfect. But IMO they're pretty good about weeding out the fakes. I've seen other consignment shops in operation and they're really not any better and probably way worse at spotting fakes. Also if you're the employee that mistakenly consigned fake sneakers they would take you off that duty. There's a record of which employee consigned which sneaker.

thing is, why pay the extra through fc? it's more about the illusion that you know you're getting a legit shoe from them. if they can't nail in 99% of the time, you're better off just doing a LC thru NT and buying the shoe yourself

i've purchased from kicks-crew before and they are legit. 

But I'm confused as well, dude said he's willing to pay a MARK UP at FC to have a piece of mind that its authentic, and then turn around and says the employees at FC doesn't know how to tell real from fake? So he's saying that FC might or might not have everything authentic.  

I'm saying that if FC sold the guy Grey Markets then the person(s) who legit check the inventory in before putting up listing for sale are failing to do their job hence my "looks shrugs and tosses box in the back line" The Jordan 2s,5s,7s,8s,9s,10s,11s I copped from FCLA site in the past are legit no problems. All my Jordan 1s came from retail (FTL, Foot Action). When FC had Bred 1s for 400-550, Shadows for 350-400, & Royals for 500-600 (early half of 2014) yall same people crying about missed out on release day should have copped when prices were reasonable now the 1s section on there is in shambles smh.
