terrible idea because the buyer could file a PayPal claim saying they never received the item and you pretty much lose the case automatically

yeah thats why I gifted my seller while he waited and we were both chillin in his car. still dangerous for some people as he could receive that gifted payment and not give you the shoes.

I don't see a problem with PayPal gift in person. Same as cash, there's no recourse to get your money back or scam the seller. Just make sure you send it to the correct email address.

PayPal gift as a seller is no good because someone could simply file a chargeback with their credit card and it doesn't matter which terms and conditions are set, you still lose.

yea, i wouldn't have done it as a seller, because there's no way to verify that I delivered the shoes. but that was his risk to take or foresee. I have no problem paying for something i want so seller doesn't need to worry (unless the frags are bs...)

how can you chargeback a gift? that's crazy

ive had it both ways... as a seller i just ask for gift & a detailed note on it so were both on the same pg & theres no bs...
