I remember when exo did his and I bought a pair from GetemChavez and he had the red laces in them and I swapped them out asap. I wanted to the black tongue swap out but that ship has sailed for the moment. I think the black tongue trumps all on the ones.

Doable. Worst case put your pant leg over them. The glossy part just turns me off. Like I done red kool-aid everywhere

I'm doing a pair myself bro, I think it can be done. My paint comes in Monday. Seems simple, don't waste money on it. Unless you're just super busy.

Pass on the rare airs. The patch gimmick is whack IMO and I don't like the the "Air Jordan" on the sides. They look like fakes.

Grab the starter kit from Angelus. In addition, you're also going to need:
- Blue dye for the outsole
- Royal 5 paint
- Duller
- Sole bright or Salon 40 will work

How does the paint hold up on the laser one customs? Does it wear away easily?

If you apply multiple thin coats and apply the finisher correctly your paint should hold up fine.

thanks man. Been thinking about doing it but I've never painted a shoe before - wasn't sure how the paint held up. I think I'm going to try it on my lasers, they just sit in my closet anyways.

What about the sole dye? Is it just a layer on top of the sole where it will come off with wear or does the color actually seep into the rubber?

No, you can purchase leather dye from angelus and mix it with sole bright or 40 volume creme. You then paint it onto the sole and it dyes and seeps into the actual sole/rubber.
