To each their own.  Can't win everybody.  I think these shoes look fantastic.  Definitely caters to a smaller fanbase vs other 1s (bred, royals, etc)

they're terrific to look at, but not the most wearable shoe imo. at some point, you gotta be practical if you're planning to wear your shoes. seems like a lot of shoes these days are made for display

When it comes down to practicality, how are DSMs relatively different from the other 1's?  DSMs are a dark navy blue base shoe so it can be easily worn with jeans or shorts and your choice of top as it would be with any other 1's (breds, royals) that are dark color based.   If the shoes were more multicolor, then I could agree with you on this.  

I think people are getting so caught up on it being patent leather and calling it nasty, so be it but colorwise, still find it relatively easy to wear.  At first I thought it was almost impossible but really isn't the case.

Got a question for those that have the Chi 1s and Black toe 1s, do you find yourself having a hard time which one you'd wear given how similar they look aside from the obvious distinction?  

For me, I'd choose the Chi 1s over black toe 1s all day.

The stuff I wear with my black toes, I wouldn't wear with my Chi's.

Shoes aren't even close IMO....not as close as say the black toe and white/black colorway.

thanks! i truly appreciate it, i do need some yellow for the x wing helmet yellow circle with the V in it too so it might be a little while before they are done but i am taking my time and loving them more and more each time i do a little more. Plus Star Wars is awesome, maybe ill try to scoop another pair and do a Boba Fett custom or Jengo but wait they are the same person...

Stuff the toe with newspaper or plastic bags

thanks ricky. i've got force fields in there now but it'll barely even stretch. thinking i'll put some leather conditioner on and hold them over a bit of heat to hopefully loosen things up

Thanks guys. He said shoes are in storage (may be a red flag) but at 300$ I'm gonna take a chance. He also said "I keep my word so shoes are sold to you, sending invoice soon". If something goes wrong paypals got my back hopefully!!

Was an ebay listing, talked him down. He had no feedback but seems like a standup guy. Pics seemed to check out( he had receipt and looked legit). Guess just gotta wait and see what happens.
