I use the rule of 2 when dealing with used shoes. Seller says they wore the shoes "X" amount of times - multiply by 2 for the real number

I've always taken it with a grain of salt.
Seller may have worn it 2x, but they're not even the original owner. Original owner could've used them for daily wear. You need the shoefax.

Didn't they already do this with the 2001s? Inner tongue tag would say "###### of ######". Not sure how reliable that is though. I'm sure some pairs had the same numbers and the total pairs ("of ######") varied.

Those were just batches in the factory. So there's a ton of different 'out of' numbers along with repeats. That was a complete gimmick (at least for the royals and black and reds)

yup there was at least double of the number they claimed maybe 3x
breds sat for 3-4 weeks when i was in nc at the local footlocker

Just for reference... I've worn that pair 30-40 times now. I have no idea how dudes beat their kicks up so bad, but lying about it is just plain dumb. Guess it comes down to needing money for that next pair
