Nah I just put plain black laces in them to match the tongue, kind of like how the bred / royal 1's have black laces. I put those kind of laces in them. The ones with the 3m are too stiff and dont look as good as plain black imo.

Black LM's are just too smooth. I'm so glad I picked up a pair. Also I see your blue shoe has more minor creases in the toe box where as the red shoe doesn't - same as my pair...weird how they come out like that! =/

I have screws in my right foot so a lot of my shoes crease more on the right . White and black LM's have been my go to shoes this summer

i think it might be the inserts that make them uncomfortable, that or just better for people with flat feet, and i have 2013 shadows and i have to put inserts in them too but once you wear 03 XIIs then you must put something in jordan 1s because between those 2 their is no contest and my feet are pampered now

Just cause you can't see the tech doesn't mean there's no tech ... And since it's the 1s tech that was the foundation for the predecessors kinda seems you need to pay homage to it.

i resp3ect and love the shoe to death but to respect tech from 85 and accept JB's lack of updating the insoles atleast? ***** with that mess, if Apple retrod their first model computer and didnt update the tech would you pay what new computers go for and not complain about it?

They tried updating the tech. Nu'Retros and Alphas. Which were crapped on unceremoniously.

Also, I lol'ed at the notion of an electronic item being retroed.

well by tech i mean they could throw somethin in the midsole for comfort like zoom tech or something hidden and also put in better insoles. seems easy but that would cost extra money and heaven forbid JB waste another dollar on a shoe guaranteed to sell out at 160+ tax without tech

I will say, compared to 2013 midsole, if you pull out the 2015 OG high insoles, they're a step up in term of comfort. Sure lunar foam or zoom would be great though but more costly.

Many folks take SB insoles and throw them in 1s for added comfort.

i have shadows from 2013 and have sbbs but at the end of the day i throw in my Dr. schools inserts into every shoe i own because they make any shoe feel great but without them i cant do 1s solo after wearing them with an extra insole insert, it just feels like walking on the pavement barefoot to me

lol just giving a time period relevant example because as computers have made leaps and bounds so have shoes and if they were to give you a "retro" looking computer for those hipster people it would still have new OS and programs on it and im not asking for brand new materials on them cuz the Nu jordan 1s or whatever they were are trash im just asking for some responsive soles so that its not like walking on bricks, if that happened though retail would be over 200 for some 1s

Never too hot for denim... Been wearing 21 oz Iron Hearts since beginning of June everyday haha

All 1's fit the same to me as far as comfort from 01's to recent ones only thing that differs is the height.

You want some comfortable shoes pick up some Roshe's
