Yes it boggles my mind that ppl will thirst over a simple NA tag and sneer at Jumpman tag like they're too good to have in their collection.

Personally i like them and will be picking them up if i don't have to jump thru hoops to attain a pear.

But we're talking about I.5s though, which also have a Nike Air tag, so that first paragraph is irrelevant.

You're more than entitled to like what you like obviously, but is it really that hard to grasp that appeal is subjective?

Y'all too worried about other people's feelings, man.

I worry over me and my own not other ppl.

Well of course taste is subjective that's a given i suppose I'm just
out of touch with this generation of sneaker Connoisseurs.

If u like the 1.5 fine..but don't sit and ask the public...whhhyyy ohh whyy dont u like these? U want it to be hyped and liked like the 2015 chi 1s? It's not...going...to happen. ..EVERRRR. just cuz it has Nike Air..just cuz it's a Chicago colorway..and MJ wore em in a couple pictures..the public just supposed to gobbble it up? Buy em for yourself..just don't try to influence others to like it..it's not gonna work

It's true, people have different tastes. I get it that some are used to the 1 midsole and some just don't plain like the thicker look. Also, the Chicago 1's have major hype because it is the original Jordan. All that being said, the public will still gobble up the 1.5. Nike isn't dumb.

thanks can anyone confirm this

Yeah son, they fit true to size. Why would he lie to you about that?

That last line was moreso in reference to ol' boy who posted that corny picture of him sticking his Black/Red Is in the sand who said that people will regret passing on the I.5s, and users that I always see echoing that comment.

I don't think it has anything to do with being out of touch though, because this 2015 I.5 doesn't look like it could've been something that released during the original run in my opinion. If you go into that I.5 thread and look at the pictures posted of that original PE/sample; these look like shoddy retros in comparison (again, in my opinion.) I think that the I.5 COULD be an appealing shoe, but this clown shoe-toed iteration doesn't cut it from a design perspective.

Beyond all that though, my point was just that you damn well know that you can understand why people may not like them; you were just being dramatic. I was just saying that dramatic sounding posts like that or "I don't understand all of the hate", etc. make me laugh

Repped for the pics. That last shot with the kobes is dope. Kinda like an old school vs new school

Questions for you guys. Do all jordan shoe releases have b-grades? Do OG Bred 2013 1s have b grades? How can I tell if a pair of black toes is a b-grade or not? And are b-grade shoes just minor defects or is the shape of the shoe different? How much less do b-grades go for if a shoe is normally 600 non b-grade? Sorry for all the questions, thanks for anyone who takes the time to answer.

B grade flaws are often very minor. Sometimes they can even be better than normal retail pairs. The flaw can be as simple as extra glue. Most b grades are stamped on the box and tongue tag. Almost every release has b grades

B- grades used to have a 'B' stamped on the production tag. If the b stands for blemish then I can't imagine something like a bad shoe shape getting a pass (I would imagine this wouldn't make it pass QC). The last b-grade I saw was circa 2012/2013 so I am not sure if Nike's switched up its branding of B-grades....lastly since some folks actually value the anomalies of b-grades and samples it's kinda hard to valuate for the after/resell market.
