Carmine 1's & Highlight Reels are only good for a donor tongue. I'm older than most nt'ers and I've been outspoken about what I've called "hypebeast " Colorways but I copped clovers , Laneys and Knicks 1 and genuinely like all 3.

If I recall correctly. Your also the only guy that prefers those "Royal" mids than the NA high Royals.Most days I feel as if i'm the only guy that like the Clovers and the Highlight Reels...and now the Carmines as well I suppose.

LMFAO yes indeed I am and I stand by that. Not to say Royals aren't great, but the grey and silver accents on the Orlando Mids make them pop better to my eyes.

I copped both knicks and laneys as well after royals, shadows, breds, chicagos. Thought they were the only non og colourways that were clean and could attain them for such a fair price. Laneys are still everywhere for cheap and if you haven't seen them in person yet, the material is tumbled leather and buttery soft suede. Both are so much nicer in person and not overdone like all these og highs coming out.

I'm a fan of the clovers as well. But the highlight reels just didn't do it for me. Something about that color blocking threw me off. Carmines I don't know yet. I'm leaning more towards not liking them. I'll have to see my pics.

The red doesn't really look like leather to me. I'd guess similar material to the actual Carmines

Carmine 1's are an easy pass. I'm already gonna cop the carmine 6's, why bother getting a knockoff carmine as well? These kinda feel like the other hybrid 1's that released earlier like the Jordan 1 89 (the 1 x IV) and 95 (the 1 x XI), only difference is they slapped Nike Air on these Carmine ones. Same goes for the Barons, I already have the Shadows which IMO are nicer, so easy pass on the Barons. Bring on the Royal KO's
