sounds like you need to get her to change or drop her... keeping negative people around you will affect your own happiness... just like the article said

I'm an *******
. I tell her all the time to be happy with what you have but I just laugh at the stuff she's unhappy about...pisses her off but I stay happy..she should take notes.Shes all about a #. Whether it's the age she gets married, conceives, salary,etc.etc.
There's glimmers of happiness that I try to feed off of to keep me from throwing all her stuff out on the lawn.
She's a lot but she holds me down and puts up with me being an ***.
