HUARACHE LE RETRO 30th anniversary release this year???

My outlook on fashion is simple. I'm not a fashion guru, I'm only into fashion that applies to me. I remember when kids at school first started wearing these no show socks, it was girls only. Maybe times hav changed but my opinion hasn't. I'm not saying the man is feminine I'm saying the sock style is feminine, it's aimed at ladies who wear skirts it shows of the leg. Does it serve any other purpose apart from aesthetic?

Yes, it's hot outside. Why would I want some high *** socks? I also don't want a half brown half white leg because the sun only hits half of my leg. What extra purpose do high socks serve compared to low ones?

You lost all fashion credibility already. We don't care what you think, Mr. Manly Man.

Go hunt and kill a bear with your bare hands, and then skin it with your Rambo knife while drinking whiskey straight from the bottle, all whilst watching some MMA in your man socks that announce your masculinity to the world.

Getting back to the actual topic of convo, found what's supposed to be a sample pic of the huarache lights coming out. Found this on eBay description says they release in August. Can't wait to rock these when they drop:

This entire no-show versus knee-high socks argument is pointless. Wear what you like, but to call out someone wearing no-shows as feminine is both ignorant and childish. Some people take this NikeTalk fashion police crap way too seriously. :smh:

*exits thread until the Scream Green's drop*

Tbh I never thought about the tanning issue as I'm Asian I don't get tan. Normal socks aren't that high and when it's hot I just wear thin socks. Normal socks are just more socially acceptable amongst men.

Anyone got a Footaction birthday coupon? Tried finding one online to no avail. Found the Cool Greys at my local store but would rather get a discount if possible

^ that also isn't really a trend. I haven't laced a pair of sneakers when worn for casual use since like '98 or '99. I think we tend to think in trends because of social media, but a lot of trends we see there have been around for ages. We just now have a forum to see what everyone else's style is.
By definition " trend " doesnt mean new but common or moving towards... I never said anything about untied I said disheveled I should've provided you with a picture so you would have a reference before commenting on my post

My observation is based on what I see, Im not in every corner of the world but I travel quite a bit and live NYC so I see a lot sneakers daily. I dont have FB, TWT or IG so what I see is just in the flesh

Not sure how some of you guys go a full size up on these. I went tts and they fit fine.

foolishness here. hilarious though. But seriously my body has beeeen ready for huarache lights.
Local champs didnt have my size in triple blacks, but they ordered a pair shipped to my house. Definitely a perfect shoe for bday coupons. Retail is already reasonable but the $25 off is all the more sweeter :smokin

Lol. Nice response but enough with the sock thing, I was adressing the previous guys who @'ed or quoted me. This thread was good before I opened the can of worms that is no show socks. I dont wanna cause this thread to get locked over some socks hype. Send your complaints to me via DM thanks.

How old are you? I graduated HS in 1998. Dudes been rocking no shows fo a minute. You must be from Kansas. Its hot. We should actually rock flip flops this time of year.

Huaraches are meant to be worn with no socks male or female
Although I have couple of No Show Socks, I believe this is how it's supposed to be. Never considered wearing socks if I'm rocking Huarache w/ Shorts and I just put some sneaker balls in after taking em off.
