That's crazy my scream greens are too tight on me (TTS) and I've worn them alot, actually ran and worked out in them and they haven't broken yet... I'm sure its bound to happen though

Went Ahead And Picked Up Scream Greens Yesterday Afternoon From A Local Boutique Below Retail. This Shoe Brings Back So Many Memories And Is Such A Nostalgic Piece For My Collection. Definitely Will Be Looking To Scoop A Second Pair At Some Point For The Low

sometimes they break. if the design was perfect, Nike would have been releasing shoes with heel straps for years instead of waiting until now for a legit retro.
i've got 9 pairs of huaraches (all TTS until my new Scream Greens-- .5 up), and the only pair that ever snapped on me was my Michigans. my car was in the shop for a day and i walked home from work. when i got home i noticed they had broken.
in my experience the most common issue huaraches always had was the outsole separating from the midsole along the sides and at the toe. i used to just superglue them and keep rocking.
i beat the everliving **** out of my Wings and Waffles and they never snapped. i wish there was a better answer, and i hope nobody else's break either. it's a blower.
i fixed mine with super glue and cutting down some gorilla tape to reinforce a bridge behind the heel strap itself and the rest of the rubber piece. with a darker pair like the translucent black on the Michigans you'd only notice if you were looking for it, hopefully the new Scream Greens hold up ok.

Speaking of straps, my dark loden/ volt's strap has yellowed. Never stored as I use it regularly for bicycling. Odd thing, only half of the strap has yellowed, and only on the left shoe. Any ideas as to what can be done to stop or reverse the yellowing? Or maybe you can suggest a paint that can be used to recolor the straps? Thank you.

That is the SG quality in the States. Wore them 4 times.
I think Nike still takes any broken/faulty shoes back within 2 years. It wouldn't hurt looking into that

That's one element of the huarache that is a given, the strap will give with time and especially so if you have not sized up at least half a size. The shape of the huarache means that you will have a tight fit if you go true, as design of the back portion of the shoe naturally pushes your foot forward.

Really really hate it when Nike starts putting graphics on everything. Really hope they stick to solid colors seriously. Dont F*** it up Nike!!

I don't mind the graphics, I think it looks good on the Huarache. I really like the Santa Monica Pool Print and look forward to the above pair.

Those two above look pretty sick. Only other non Og color huarache runners on my radar are the grey ones coming out sometime later this year and the white/gumsole ostrich pair but those black camo joints above and the colorfade ones would be perfect on discount for the gym

I don't know these things run crazy small. Mine are a full size up and they fit perfect but still snug. I can't imagine trying to squeeze into my true size. Tried a half size up and it just barely fit. I'd advise getting some no-show dress socks that's probably your only chance at them feeling wearable. And don't wear them for too long. This strap issue is a shame. I really like huaraches but that alone makes me worry about getting any other pairs. I'm not trying to hunt down size 14s for these either. Oh well.
