Like the post below says, nothing they can do.  Same with Finishline, where I bought them, as I'm way past 90 days from purchase.  Eh well.

I dunno where you guys get your info but you have TWO YEARS to file a claim on defective merchandise with Nike NOT 90 days. And this is clearly a defect not caused by normal wear, if I were you I would take as many photos as possible and then complain to Nike directly. If that doesn't get you anywhere then file a claim with your credit card and or a complaint with the BBB if need be. You'll be surprised how fast you get your refund if you have to go the BBB route but in no way should you just shoulder shrug this unless of course money is no object and you don't care.

I know the care/maitenance thread exists, so if this should go there, let me know...

Now we've seen 3-4 people bust straps. Did anyone that bust them repair them? Would be cool to see someone detail the process. Even if they posted in care thread and linked to it. I realize it's a glue thing, but what types of glue did someone use, how did they keep it secure and tight for drying, etc would be cool to know. I'm a horrible artist/handyman so I'd be interested.

Had my scream green for like 4 months with a couple wears, this never happened to me

When you guys put them on are you guys using the strap to put the foot in? Because that can be the reason why they break as the strap isn't used for that.

But it can also be that some people don't luck out with getting a pair with straps that won't break

I considered both colors, but Light Retro seemed to be too "light blue"... almost Tiffany, which was probably not what I wanted.

I usually use the liner to guide my foot in- honestly I don't think I've ever touched the strap before.  Just an update on my situation, I spoke with someone over the phone at Finishline(while in store) and was given store credit for $75(used $10 coupon when I purchased them).  Used that towards the Black/Blue Flight Huaraches.

Did you size up?
 
want to exchange my scream greens for a size up but lost receipt. itll be a 11 for 10.5 . if i buy 11 , switch pairs and return saying i got the wrong size it'll work? hate to do this but man i need my size.

if you haven't worn them just take them back and exchange them. You don't need a receipt for that.

Did you have to return your pair to receive this credit? I only ask because what purpose would a used pair with a broken strap serve either them or Nike?
