Actually no, cause he's still making good music. Him and 2Chainz really are the blueprint for vets who still rap heavily. Who would have thought after all this time, in 2012 these two wold be highly in demand??

He basically took his get high **** and ran with it ..

And it's not as dark.

J re-invented and Aligned himsef with ****** who looked up to him

I'm not mad , he's still entertaining

The only problem I have is that most people who know "a zip and a double cup" don't know a thing about Three Six or that he was even one of the founders.

Everything else about his new act ok with me. He was largely irrelevant in today's scene, now he's not. He went on a nice little run and dropped more than a few bangers too. He also tried to help put some youngsters on.

Juicy J 2.0 is OK.

yea basically...dude got a whole new era of young'ns that would never listen  to him before rocking to zip nd a double cup...college kids, hood dudes, 'trippy Ns'...its like dude gets to go thru his prime again...

i always rocked wit 3 6...but this new juicy j as a solo artist is waaaaaay easier to listen to...didnt say better, just saying less dark, less yelling...makes it easier

Totally agree but you gotta think a lot of these youngsters (the Wiz, Mac, Sean, Wayne-esque listeners) jus't dont have any clue about the foundation's of this rap **** anyways, even all the way into the "crunk" era and what not.  I think it's a strength of his to keep himself relevant, especially when age and seniority is so looked down upon in the game.  There have only been a handful able to keep themselves afloat past a certain point in their careers and J is one of em.
 
Can't blame the man for reinventing himself and getting that money. It's tolerable and the new **** get's parties turnt up like a muhfugga :x
 
He seems to be having fun, getting money, making dope ****. He is a pioneer in this drug culture we see so prevalent today anyway. He deserves to ride this wave if anybody. I see no problem at all.

Agree with both of these. I've been listening to Juicy J/Three 6 since 94, and I just love how he's reinvented himself yet stayed true at the same time. He's been on fire since 09 and don't look to be slowing down.
 
Juicy still talking about the same ****, just a different sound now. I'm cool with it, especially since Three 6 began making terrible albums and him and Paul had a phase where they were putting out mixtapes with some repetitive *** beats and similar hooks between the songs. Paul still be doing that ****.
 
Been a triple six mafia fan, i support anything that juicy J does, it ain't like he used to be a lyricist or something.
