Ryan Gosling Appreciation Thread

QFT hes a butterface ,great body ugly face..

You take that back.

I type this with my girl sitting right next to me and not a ounce of Elton John in my blood, but Gosling is aesthetic as hell. Gorgeous face, elite body aesthetics plus alot of people doesn't like the way he acts because he's laid back and quite, but I'm sure the amount of P**** he acquires doesn't give 2 *****.

Drive is still my favorite movie to this day. Dare You To Come At Me Bros.

his face is "off".....
Ryan Gosling helpline set up for distressed fans
Comfort at hand for those in despair over actor's decision to take a break from film career...

A helpline has been set up for distressed fans of Ryan Gosling after he announced his decision to take a break from acting.

Gosling, who has critically acclaimed films such as Drive, Blue Valentine and The Ides Of March under his belt, told the Huffington Post that he wanted to focus on directing earlier this week.

With Gosling currently working on his directorial debut How To Catch A Monster, he said: "I've been doing [acting] too much. I've lost perspective on what I'm doing. I think it's good for me to take a break and reassess why I'm doing it and how I'm doing it.

"I think this is probably a good way to learn about that," he added. "I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does. There's a lot of pressure to be the lead of a film. I have done it. It's not my favourite way to work."

Now, website Blinkbox has established 'The Gosline' to help fans deal with the news, with people able to ring the emergency number and listen to audio recordings of some of his most famous lines of dialogue. Included among the selections are a speech from the 2004 romantic comedy The Notebook, in which Gosling says: "So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day."

A spokesperson for Blinkbox said: "We couldn't bear the thought of the distress caused by Ryan's announcement. We hope that this goes some way to relieving the pain and hurt caused by his selfish decision to take a break."

Doctor Who star Matt Smith is set take on the lead role in Gosling's How To Catch A Monster, with Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks and Eva Mendes also set to feature. The film will be released at some point in 2014, with an official release date yet to be confirmed.

Ever since watching Drive for a second time last month (big fan of the movie, don't get me wrong), I honestly don't think Gosling is as great as an actor as I once thought/everyone thinks. The Gosling of today is always soft spoken and has these facial expression that you know what they are when you see him  . Half-Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl , that's when he was at his best IMO.

Hearing he was dope in Pines, hoping that movie lives up to its hype.

Tell me not, Ben Foster is the poor mans Gosling, and is a better actor overall :nerd: .

Well...Gosling's not that great in Drive. It's more just a bold change of pace role for him.
That's a movie that got hyped up from the soundtrack and visuals more than the performances, but all ships rise together.

Half Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl, Blue Valentine...he was pretty damn good in those.

Checked out The Place Beyond The Pines yesterday. I liked it, but thought it was a little long. Gosling had another good performance

Hes a shrimp. Great body ugly face hes just got a good public exposure his agent is smart
Putting him out there...talented but ugly

just watched The United States of Leland, watching The Believer now. both solid *** movies on Netflix. United States of Leland is an instant classic for me.

he's got the same accent in The Believer as Jax does in SOA
