I just trimmed mines down a few days ago. I just don't think I can pull off the super thick beard look. Hell, not even sure if mines can grow that long. But being able to actually have facial hair beyond the patchwork some dudes try to pull off is good enough for me.

i usually keep my very neat and short. But this is my last year in college, so im going to go all out... octobeard, no shave november, and decembeard... want a nice beard for when i go snowboarding in dec/jan

I did it last year from November all the way to April.

was it to uncomfortable??

been keeping one for a few months, trimmed a few times cause its so coarse and curly . only thing that helps me is argan oil. im in

yes.. its works better than anything else ive ever used. also helps with growth. its a little pricey but worth it IMO

Any specific moisturizer? I've tried lotion and what not before and still no relief to be had. Usually gets unbearable at about 2 weeks

I've tried for 2 weeks before you posted this thread OP. I just shaved it after discovering some patchy areas that will not grow any hair at all. I was discouraged, irritated from the beard and the bad luck that came with it made me shave it all off. I doubt i'll do it again unless i get the oral herps.
