Bulls offseason Thread

Lol, maybe Deng the draft picks and Mirotic for LMA. When Deng's contract expires, he can sign back with us. Pipe dream?
 
i'd rather have 2 2014 1st round draft picks than LMA. Maybe we can get Melo or another good 2014 FA.

On another note, our summer league roster doesn't look too bad. A couple of shooters like Andy Rautins, Andrew Goudelock. Even saw Boozer and Tony Allen's brothers on the squad. Also Teague, Thomas, Snell, and Murphy as expected.

If we dont move Lu how much would you guys want to re sign him for with the next contract? We are going to have to sign Jimmy in a year or two also. Definitely something to think about
 
I see melo heading out to the Lakers, but Chicago ? That reach is way out there. I still think we should do a three team deal and pick up Aldridge and drop off Boozer to the bucks who can then trade Portland someone and some picks and we pick up Aldridge. Or send that pick along with Gibson and someone else or just boozer to portland for Aldridge. I want to keep Deng and Butler.

We have to give up this notion that we can get anything of value for Boozer. Nobody wants him. Portland isn't desperate to trade an all-star for scraps. The blogabull link makes a good point that this deal would be much more likely to happen in 2014. We don't have the leverage to pull this off unless LMA straight up tells Portland he's bolting in two years.

Yeah,but I'd rather have a player willing to play for my organization than one who doesn't give a damn about it. And according to some of the reports I'm seeing, Aldridge isn't too happy with the trailblazers.

Wow u guys waived rip i really liked him on the bulls even though he wasn't playing like he used to..rip on the bulls he helped out when he could off the bench given the opportunity as a Knicks fan I think Lu is the perfect team player IMO I hope u guys give him his money if you could cuz that's a tough void to fill

I love Nate, but I don't it works for the organization. Heinrich is staying and I don't think they will dump Teague. I'd love for them to keep Nate, but I'm sure they will let him go unfounrtunatly. Hope I'm wrong.

i think we always had the money we wanted to give to nate ...he just has to accept a multi yr deal aint happening at the price he thinks hes worth

& they had to give rip a mill to get rid of him

I truly think the bulls are dumb for not keeping Nate he finally in his career to find a team he thrived on and was a perfect fit for him..what would u bulls fans say if d rose comes back and is never the same as he left?
