Bulls offseason Thread

Don‘t expect any team to go undefeated in a long season. With that said, it is baloney to call Pau out that way when he‘s the only guy that WON two rings. The Rose thing was funny, because he sounded stoned when talking to reporters. I think the media is making a big fuss out of it but Rose should‘ve had better word choice. Rose hasn‘t earned the right to talk this season. Pau ain‘t even trippin, and some of the fans, and players themselves already are?
 
The part you said about Pau not doing anything against legit 5s is why I'd want a big for insurance, especially since Noah's health is up in the air.

I think we good with our wings. Dunleavy was playing solid. He just got hurt, and I'm sure his injury is a one time thing (knock on wood) cuz he's not historically injury prone.

Dougie has been gone a long long time. We still have time to work him into a rotation if necessary.

I would have really been mad at Rose statement if it had not been for the past 3 games he has turned up on both sides. These past 3 games were ive actually seen him defend like he got some sense. All season ive seen him let guards run right past him literally let them go by him and expect the bigs to step up. Also past 3 games yes he been shooting a lot but its been some really strong drives to the basket mixed in. He even did his infamous jump stop then layup with confidence like he really back. I think its only a matter of time by march or april when he is truly back on both sides, he never got big credit but in the good days he killed the other team offensively and shut down opposing pgs.

The idea of starting gibson over Noah no thx if anything, Ill take less pau playing time, and give more of that to Taj to help on the defensive side. Noah has to get healthy and pau the one that needs to adjust if anything.

Jimmy hasnt regressed something is wrong their mentally. Ever since that game he missed for personal reasons something has been really off like his mind is elsewhere.

Im not buying the Thibs peaked idea, if the players tuned him out then they are the morons, the system works thats a fact, going against that said system is why were losing right now. you dont abandon whats worked, because clearly their way isnt working. This team flat out fell for their own hype imo, got rose back jimmy look like an all star, got pau, taj game expanded, we got one of the highest rated foreigners, a former most improved player, a shooting phenom out of college. There is no dog in us, this not a thibs problem, this a problem where rose or noah need to hold a players only meeting and they decided what type of MEN they are.

Last point dont laugh, I would love to have nate back he sitting there as a free agent, of course it will be said why would we need nate if we got brooks. Simple this team needs a spark a hype man, nate isnt some gifted defender but he brings everything he got every play and that can be contagious. This team needs that back right now

the thibs thing has been floating for at least a season & like i said some games it would be damnable to want him elsewhere & other games it looks like scott brooks took over his body

P.O.M. def needs to happen to get everyone on the same pg & i also think something is off about Jimmy, cant tell what ovb but its something.

i whispered about getting nate back even with AB it would be 2 off the bench punches i doubt most could handle... 2 seattle guards with big heart

Im really heated listening to this podcast on why thibs has lost the team. If this is true this is not the team ive came to love, you cant be crying for rest while you suck and not doing the things to make your self crazy. Its even worse listening to this clown basically say thibs is too intense the players should be rewarded while losing smh

I've listened to a couple different podcast and radio shows today. I dont think the team has given up on Thibs. I think we are having a problem bringing it every game. I think they still trust him but i think his constant intensity is kinda wearing on the team. If we lose the best coach we've had since Phil, a lot of us are going to be pissed

I cant stand Cowley or Sheridan tho

Love the energy we played with from the start. Snell does some dumb **** but he does hustle and play hard, no doubt about that.

That was the chicago bulls last night, and wow Rose looked like mvp rose..... great to see.

Snell needs to build on last night, use that athleticism go to the basket
 
I think the last game it was their offense that was hurting them tbh. A little too much standing around watching the ball sometimes, no cutting, no off ball screens or anything like that.

Dallas seemed to get cooking with their defense and getting points off of turnovers and stops and such
 
Still strange seeing Luol in a jersey other than a Bulls' one. Especially a Miami Heat jersey, no less. He was one of my favorite Bullies, and its classy and deserved that the org. is showing a tribute video for Luol.

On a sidenote, i wish i could still wear my "Im here for the Deng Bang" shirt.
 
Bulls are in trouble.

-Noah has looked horrible all year
-Rose is too inconsistent. If he's not on, he's ice cold. And dude makes the WORST decisions at times
-Defense is no longer the team's identity
-Thibs is too stubborn to make adjustments
-No consistent shooting threat to space the floor, resulting in teams packing the paint and shutting down our offense
-Effort has been non-existent, no heart or hustle in this team, as evidenced by our god awful home record

It's just not enjoyable to watch this team quite honestly. Sure they won against San Antonio and Dallas, but these problems have been rampant all season long. And at this point, can we really expect the roster to improve unless we make a trade?
