Bulls offseason Thread

Rose isn't going anywhere. PR disaster for him and the Bull. Plus, he's coming off 2 major knee surgeries, so the Bulls have demonstrated loyalty to him.

As for our FO, GarPax needs to go. These guys simply don't know how you conduct business.

I think my POV on our current situation has been well documented.

I've spoken on this for the past 2-3yrs.

As far as Pooh leaving being a PR nightmare for him, I wouldn't hold on to that as hope for him to stay. Furthermore, it is NOT his job to bring in talent. Would it hurt for him to reach out, no and I wish that he would, but is he required to do so? NO, and while I wish he would I cannot fault him for his stance considering that there are two people being PAID to do that, let them earn their keep.

I'm not sure if serious. You must be talking about Amare shooting 3's on occasion, because Boozer gets about half of his points in the 15-20 ft range.
LOL I did not even see that.

The front office is a joke. At times we may laugh at others like the Knicks with Dolan, but our situation is no better.

His ENTIRE brand is built on being Chicago's native son. Adidas won't let him leave, even if he wants to.

Plus, this isn't really a "rebuild." Yes, we lost our 2nd best player and the league's best LeBron stopper, but this team is STILL a 7-8 seed without him.

if amare stayed healthy he would have been a top 5 PF, I wonder if rose would have got hurt wearing nikes instead of adidas.

Keyword "if" .. we can sit here and debate that all day about a few players (Grant Hill, T-Mac, Yao Ming, & now Rose just to name a few).

off topic but how the hell is this possible

the same way this is....

Its up to the bulls front office to sell thibs and Drose/his camp that rebuilding right now is best for the team and its future. and its also best for both of them to understand that its what the bulls need to do.

Drose can say what he wants but he cant really think this current roster was really going to win a ring and same for thibs.

im not down into throwing money or trading for middle of the roads stars for this offseason, you better off holding on to boozer and letting him come off the books and making sure drose is healthy then throw money and players like lance or Danny granger

it may be a pipe dream but do everything in your power to trade for klove next year before he hits the open market, we have draft picks and young players that MAY get it done.

Well adding the now injured eric bledsoe (has to have surgery) to the list its not just rose and adidas , the injured players due to knee problems and other injuries is getting out of control right now.

Derrick Rose going down could be a major blessing in disguise for you guys.

The Bulls need to rebuild. They have a strong core, but a lot of their main pieces are starting to fall off. Although, from what it seems like, management is trimming salary down.

The luxury tax problem is VERY real. Only a select few teams would be able to swallow such a hit. I'm talking about the Lakers, Knicks and Nets of the world.

$3 for every $1 you're over. That's just ridiculous :x:smh:

Athletes get injured wearing different brands of shoes. Stop bringing up this ******ed argument.

The Bulls are the most profitable team in the NBA. Everyone knows Chicago could handle 2 teams, but Reinsdorf and co would never let that happen.

CBA kinda sucks. Shows you the current cap is just too low.

Seriously, stop thinking the front office is that bad. They don't have a perfect record but they've done a decent job with the cards they were dealt.

Amare vs Heat tonight: 14 points, 11 rebounds, 3 offensive boards, 7-12 FG in 27 minutes played.

This is how he's been playing since he got back from injury this year. Just giving you guys some perspective. His career certainly isn't over.

Couldn't help but noticed that you've been posting Knicks stuff in a bulls thread. :nerd:

If I'm not mistaken, last night was the first game of the season he recorded DOUBLE DIGIT REBOUNDS! :wow: Let's not get carried away.

$32 mil until 2015? Omg.... :x
Can't wait til Boozer is amnestied...

Also yeah the Deng situation is unfortunate but it is what it is, lowball or not, he wasn't in the teams plan for the future... What that plan is besides amnestying boozer and bringing Mirotic over I don't know but I swear that better not b all.... Knowing this cheap FO they'll spin something along the lines of brining Mirotic over as our "big move" and acquisition

Hank gave us a better perspective of our cap situation and then we got into the Boozer/Amare debate.

Secretly, I think he's a Bulls fan on the low

Goin to Milwaukee to catch the Bulls game tonight. God, when I first bought these tix i had no idea of the ensuing chaos that would follow lol.....ahhhh well, gonna make it a good day regardless
