Bulls offseason Thread

During the summer of Rose, I will be in Vegas with my phone locked in safe or on some island where there are no TVs or guest computers. I don't want those headaches.

thats gonna be the summer of double shots & extendo's if dude acts like lebum & melo

Best thing is if we can get a ring outta him in the next three years. I'm guessing the CBA will be the same in that he can get most from Bulls unless a SnT is used. We damn sure struggle to attract superstars. I guess we will see if we can keep one.

it would be sickening if BJ got his revenge this way. Does he even have any more clients? Or is he E to Roses Vince?

BJ aka Pizza Boy has Jabari and Embiid as clients.

wow... ....... wow

I feel like BJ and possibly Reggie want to move Rose outta here when that contract is up. How in sam hell did BJ land the #1 pick? Where was Falk?

I'm sure he will be taking meetings with Lakers and they will tell us how he has home out there.

I'm already prepared for it. even worse, I'm prepared for all the talk a year before and his short answers.

For now, I choose to be optimistic about the squad we have. Two year window as was said earlier.

IT IS WHAT IT IS BROS

There is no possibly, they will move Rose when his deal is up. The question then becomes who really wants the headache of him and his team and will Rose even be in the form to command another max contract.

Boozer doesn't want to be here anymore, bringing him off the bench would be counterproductive IMO. In order for us to makes moves, we have to get him off our books.

Booz never said he didn't want to be here, he was told that he was either going to be traded or amnestied.

Fam, serious question, is Boozer your favorite player on our roster?

Favorite player? No...but Booz is not as bad as fans make him out to be. Booz is the same player he was when he was in Utah, decent shooter and decent rebounder w/ no defensive skills. Only difference is his age and the fact that Chicago fans got to see it up close and personal.

Boozer is not the same player he was in Utah. He was BALLING in Utah, damn near averaging 21 points and 11 boards while shooting 55%, he was a guaranteed 20 & 10 guy. He got his money when he came here and pretty much kicked his feet up.

Also, outside of his rant to the media earlier this year, Boozer has never been an outspoken person, he's handled his time here very well. However the writing has been on the wall for the past two seasons, it's obvious he no longer wants to be here, Thibs won't play him in the 4th, and the FO realizes it's time to cut ties (regardless of the 16M he's owed.)

He was also the one of the focal points of the offense in Utah. Him & D. Will ran the pick & roll/pick & pop to perfection so he had more opportunities in Utah. I could go on and on, but it is what it is. He gone he gone, that's life and basketball still goes on. Same people that rag on his bad games were the same ones cheering him on when he had a good games. Hope the Bulls make splash this offsesason.

If Boozer just gave a little bit of something on the defensive side of the ball I wouldn't have any issues keeping him next season. My only beef with him is D, if you're going to slack at least give me 20 & 10 consistently (especially with DRose out for two years) rather than 14 & 7.

Same reason why I'm weary about overpaying Gasol but at this point we might not have too many other options :smh:

my same issue if your gonna play like baby **** on D at least give us the 20+ & 10 on O we expected when you got paid...

Rose leaving chi??

I don't see it..D will get paid here regardless but if he undoubtedly left due to complications, he might just get more hate then Bron..this is not Cleveland.. He mines well move the entire fam with him completely and don't show face again if he turns his back on this city..people will be beyond angry /frustrated..
Hate will b too strong

I think well get in a good position before hand eventually where we can be favorites,
especially if miami splits..

coldcity coldcity ..I meant leaving and turning his back on his team isnt ***** made..waiting for Bron is a different story..wasn't even thinking bout that

Carmelo Reconsidering Bulls As Option
Jul 10, 2014 8:17 PM EDT

Stephen A. Smith and Mike McGraw are reporting that Carmelo Anthony is having second thoughts about re-signing with the New York Knicks, with the Chicago Bulls resurfacing as an option.

Anthony has regained interest in the Bulls and Tom Thibodeau is reportedly keeping him interested.

The Bulls are internally trying to figure out how to close a deal with Anthony.

There have been no sign-and-trade talks with the New York Knicks, as the Bulls would need a commitment from Anthony before engaging.
