Bulls offseason Thread

^Repped, and thank you.

Looks like HOU made the first move by moving Asik's "untradeable" contract last night. I think that lowers any chance the Bulls may have had to land Melo...

We still are in the more favorable aka easy conference to make the finals. Houston, even with melo, would have a tough road to June.

Every analyst and coach I have heard speak on the matter is saying Bulls are the best fit, money withstanding. Noah has been on him since February and Rose too, allegedly. If it's true about Rose, that has to inflate Melo's ego a little.

I will be glad when this **** is over.

I hear you, and I agree the Bulls are the best fit. But this is starting to remind me of 2010 when we were also the best fit for 'Bron/Bosh/Wade too.

Let's hope I'm very wrong and HOU is the one left out in the cold this time.

I've been let down too many times in the past to get ecited again. Just hoping for the best, preparing for the worst lol

Especially with no defense Harden and Cry baby Howard

harden to ny s&t for melo
move asik & lin to get lebron money
:x :smh:

Apart of me just don't think we will get him.

At the same time with or without him I expect us to contend in the east. Especially if Rose can somehow stay healthy.

Out major problem is those big parts of games where we don't put it points. It seems like it always happens. If we fix that we are good to go IMO.

Say goodbye to the AA move:

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 4m
Orlando has agreed to send Arron Afflalo to Denver for Evan Fournier and 56th pick in 2014 Draft, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Fournier and the 56th pick? That's it??

That's a hater move on the Magic's part. They prob did that on purpose to put a wrench in Melo to you guys.

Fellow Laker fan here but would love to see Melo on the Bulls. Instant trip to the Finals.

Yea for once not really sure we can blame our FO for this one. This seems like more of a rushed Orlando choice possibly even trying to block us

Here comes the old shtick about the FO again. Wake me up when summer's over, this thread is 90% *****ing about GarPax. Yeah, let's just trade them for Joe Dumars or John Hammond.

We could add the 16th and 19th picks to our team, Mirotic, and a healthy Rose to a squad that won 48 games, get the #1 seed in the East and you mogs will be complaining about waiving Mike James to avoid the luxury tax. I wonder what it'd be like if you guys were Knicks or Bucks fans for the past decade, you'd probably quit watching basketball.

This thread is insufferable. It really is.

& HE WAS CHEAP WTF CHICAGO !

Obviously they're putting all their eggs in the Melo basket.

Other teams have been interested in Afflalo...other teams could have offered virtually the same thing...yet they're free from criticism and our FO is being lambasted? Oh ok.

Any success the FO has is somehow null and void by dumbass excuses. "Oh but they were gifted Rose..." dude we could have had Michael ******* Beasley. They did their due diligence to choose the right player (I guess draft success and picking players who aren't busts isn't a hallmark of a good front office). Imagine how many years that would have set us back. You would have thought we were a consistent lottery team the way people talk in this thread. We're not the Cubs damn it.
