Bulls offseason Thread

yall are blessed to not have him on your team

I'm not sure if it's all on Lance. Team chemistry is a fragile, delicate thing any lil change could alter the look of a team overnight.

I still think given a chance and under the right leadership and system Lance could still be a very productive player. I'm not sure if it's an attitude issue or if he's just a bad fit for that system, but whatever it is Charlotte is hurting.
The only positive is that Lance's contract is very easily moveable, and if your a team on the cusp with solid veteran leadership in place...its a move that could benefit.

Watching replay of last night's game. Can Noah just stop trying to play point guard after grabbing the defensive rebound?

I want to smack him every time I see him do it.

*edit

Just finished watching. Lance smh, I'm glad we dodged that bullet. Bad shot selector.

Rose just has to get confidence in his body back. Since he hurt his hamstrings, you can tell he lost trust in his body again.

Just has to keep playing. Every game he plays and he's not hurt is a success.

Forget the game's result. For those idiots criticizing Derrick for only being concerned about his brand of whatnot, he just made a statement that MJ would have never made.

Game wise...**** Kirk Hinrich and his narrative-bought playing time. Awful decisions and shooting in that 4th quarter.

The fact that so many teams are scoring 100 points against us, makes me wonder if the players are just lazier this year, or if opposing coaches finally found a hole in Thib's defense.

Great game by Jimmy he knew he was going against Klay and he showed up big. Rose showed in that first quarter he can still go, then he abandoned going to the bucket, im confident as he strings together more games he will trust his body more. Our defense was flat out trash and im glad from the comments after the game the team is admitting how bad they are defensively right now

Its time for Thibs to reel Derrick in on these heat check threes.

Defense just isnt getting after it like in years past. Besides Jimmy, everyone else is playing pretty average defensively. Just not closing out on guys like in the past. Im ready to break up Niko and Taj duo. We gotta stagger them playing together, just not big enough down low and give up too many offensive rebounds. I say we go taj/jo and niko/pau.

^Failure to close out is something I've noticed, especially in that GS game. Not sure why Thibs didn't go small to compensate, especially since GS isn't that big.

This. Mirotic should have been playing. Draymond Green was lighting us the hell up

Went to the game tonight. Bulls started slow, but tore it up the 2nd half. That D.Rose 7-0 run was awesome! ! Taj and Pau were great too.

Everytime Rose made a hard drive tonight, I was scared he was going to land awkwardly or on someone's foot. I guess it's going to be that way for a while until he can show he can stay healthy.

I can't believe how far Deron has fallen. Not sure if Deron is still working out his own injury issues, but even at 80 percent, Rose still looked superior tonight.

That was a solid performance. As much as I clamored to see Nate and Rose cook together, AB is a problem out there. The fact we did this without Noah is even more satisfying.
