Too much iso in OT

Honestly... one of the weirdest assembled teams in the league.

Jason Thompson, Thomas Robinson, DeMarcus Cousins, Chuck Hayes, James Johnson.

I mean, I know Cousins and Hayes switch in and out from PF to C.. but damn.

JT cant play some center as well...

but ya, this team is poorly assembled. Literally every guard on this team is an iso scorer. We got zero knock down shooters. No small forwards laugh.gif

4 out 1 in every play.

Serious question: has there been any explanation why NBATV pulled the Kings game on the 9th? My only guess is maybe because of the game against Utah tonight on NBATV (and they didn't want to show a rematch), but kind of a b move considering what's going on Saturday night.

It always blows my mind that Peaches spends tons of time with these guys too, like on flights, hotels, etc. and he still goes off on players and coaches from time to time laugh.gif

That's the New York in him laugh.gif

He used to not say anything about the Maloofs but since they won't be signing his checks anymore he hasn't defended them like he used to. Typical employee talk, don't say **** about the boss til they're not the boss no more laugh.gif

Hoping Donte lands on a team this year
My brother and sister in law ran into him at ihop a couple weeks ago, dude was surrounded by groupies. When my brother asked him why he wasn't signed to anybody he was all lost in his words "oh...uh..mm..I'm injured right now.." Yet he posts all the time on IG on his daily activities but nothing about his rehab.

Talented guy, just doesn't care enough to work on his craft.
On the radio he said teams have been in contact with his agent now that he's wrapped his rehab
post #833 of 2329
I just hope wherever he goes he works hard.

There's no reason he shouldn't have been the starting SF here. We've been the crappiest team for years now.
I think part of that is his skill set. You can't depend on him to get a shot off or create something on offense or anything like that. So on a floundering team like the Kings, his inability to do that is magnified.

However, I didn't watch them closely enough, so I don't know if he actually did look lazy out there in person or not.

Anyway the way I view him is a good glue guy. He'll look good and do a lot of little things on a good team.

I honestly thought, in the deep deep deep crevasse of my mind, I thought he had Durant-like talent. Or at least a similar skill set. mean.gif

But he didn't improve a lick since getting drafted tired.gif

Like not that level.... but at least with his 6'11=7' body with solid perimeter scoring skills and a decent schooter...... but that obviously never developed

No I know what you were saying. Unfortunately his style of play doesn't allow him to get buckets or anything close - not sure if this is a lack of dedication to improving or just the way it is with his style. I will stand by my belief he can help a good team.
I was just hoping for a Tayshaun Prince lite type of player. What we got was Rodney Rogers with a much lower shooting percentage.

anybody going to the game tonight #herewebuy?
