Gas Price Hike

I remember a couple of years ago gas was around this price...safeway had a deal going on for every $100 spent you get $.10 off per gallon at their gas stations. Ended up paying something like a dollar a gallon on a couple of occasions...wonder if they still do that.
 
I'm glad I drive a camry...second guessing getting that vw gti now though. :/
 
I rarely drive my 73 maro anywhere the last 2 years :x..probably drove it a total of 10 times this year.
Been driving around town with a 08 Camry LE :smokin :tongue:. But had to put in 75 bucks today to fill the tank :smh:
 
Anyone recall last election year (2008) right before Obama got elected gas prices went down to $2 and change ?


Cmon oil tycoon guise... Lets do that again !!!

Just watched the news and they said gas prices are only going to rise the rest of the week by an avg of 10 cents a day :x...so fill up your rides to full tomorrow or else you'll get raped at the pump.

Get the GTD, I believe they're bringing it here next year. Essentially a GTI with a 2.0 liter turbodiesel that does 30/42. :smokin

That's when the economy tanked (Fall 2008). Demand dropped like a rock. That's why gas prices plummeted. Economy recovers a bit, gas prices go right back up. So you can either hope for another recession, or just deal with it.

I heard safeway gas is worse then arco? And arco is pretty cheap stuff to...can anyone elaborate?
