Son you put a 454 in there? Damn I thought my 350 was bad. Very nice cars +1

Be glad that we have some of the lowest gas prices in the world...they're paying between $8 and $10 per gallon in Europe :x :smh:
Article is a couple months old, but still valid...http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/15/united-states-low-gas-prices_n_1518169.html
youre right. My cousin in australia is paying insane prices for gas, as well as driving tickets.
Im looking for a car now that i have a baby, but its kind of weird for me to have a hatchback, or little volkswagen with a baby car seat in the back.:rolleyes

Anyone recall last election year (2008) right before Obama got elected gas prices went down to $2 and change ?
Cmon oil tycoon guise... Lets do that again !!!

That's when the economy tanked (Fall 2008). Demand dropped like a rock. That's why gas prices plummeted. Economy recovers a bit, gas prices go right back up. So you can either hope for another recession, or just deal with it.

Hope da keystone pipeline gets built soon...

is it really gonna make a difference tho?i think itll do more harm than good.

Got an 08 Honda Civic, I fill up the tank with Plus with about $45.00. It lasts me a while but since commute 32 miles total a day it lasts about a week tops.

Drive slow haha
On hills don't even push the gas pedal.
Resist pushing on the accelerator too hard

$3.69...$30 from a quarter to fill up my tank...lasts a week. Would last longer if I didn't try 35 miles back and forth to school twice a week...

Looks like im about to try to sell this Caddy, and I just bought it last week smh

Having da turbo ftl. premium only.

although i wont complain as much cuz i know people who drive da SUVs and v8/v12

Eugchk!

Yeah the gas prices are ridiculous, my BMW is parked up...driving the volvo since it takes reg gas...and I also want to sell the bimmer until atleast next summer. Then buy one back

This is my lane right here :smokin
:nthat:

yea thats why I don't take that 73 no where unless I hitting the clubs or a carshow. It drinks gas like it water. Same goes with the g500. Although I drive the g500 around more than the 73, it drinks up gas like crazy too and premium gas :x kill me now :smh:

But currently working on a 67 Chevelle

gas is 3.44 in SC, so not that bad compared to the rest of yall, but I drive at least 80-90 miles a day, plus im always speeding since im always late for work.

Once i graduate im either moving closer to my job, or getting a small car.

Here are some tips.

Do a tune up if you haven't done so. This includes the basic.

Oil Change
Spark Plugs (Same specs and brand as indicated in manual)
Air Filter
Tire Pressure (If you are unsure, check w/ a professional, you would actually set your settings based on the tire, and not on the side of your vehicle)
Use the right octane, and if possible real gasoline, not some ethanol mixture, although that's hard now.

Aside from that, watch how you drive, and avoid traffic.

When I left for work yesterday it was $4.31 for premium. When I got home it was $4.43. I didn't look this morning, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's $4.60 by the time I get home today.
