Are you serious? He railed on Obama for being fiscally irresponsible, then, with a straight face, said he'd make huge tax cuts on corporations and income tax, and then he'd spend a trillion dollars in some kind of infrastructure project, make the largest increase to defense spending in history, start a war with ISIS, and build some giant ridiculous wall. That's beyond ignorant of economics. That's so basic, that's how you lose a game of SimCity 2000.

So, how long do we have until the next recession?

If revenue growth for accounting firms, or should I say a lack there of meeting projections, maintains over the next 2-4 quarters then we are pretty close. Almost all large accounting firms are failing to meet their projections YTD right now. The larger firms started firing people here and there. And once firms start to cut back on consulting and similar work that means that they are feeling and seeing something that isn't being spread to the rest of the economy just yet but soon will.

Expenditures such as these are very good barometers for the wider economy when it comes to private business spending.

Anyone from Da Rust Belt? If so, are u pumped that Da manufacturing jobs from the 1940s are on their way back? Rosie Da Riveter making a comeback. CARSON/HARVEY 2020.

You're completely missing the point . You say 'president of the united states' as if you're not talking about Donald trump

You're missing the point. They're both one and the same. If Donald Trump had lost the election and was saying the things he is saying, I'd be happy to put him on mute.

Recession are hard to predict. Something has to happen to force into recession, a oil shock is not happening, and I don't think animal spirits will do it.

But yeah, we have a few under-dressed bubbles, we are about to let Wall-Street run wild again, inequality is rampant, and two buffoons (Ryan and Trump) are deciding our fiscal policy.

Will a recession happen under Trump, who knows, but will the next recession probably be caused partly because of a policy he put in place, absolutely.

-Best part, they will recklessly cut taxes, and when the Dems regain power, the nation will get mad at them when they say it would be wise if we raise them again.

Important @ByBrianBennett analysis of Trump's real immigration goals: Reshape U.S. demographics for the long term.

A few quick takes:

- Bernie, do not applaud anything that man says even if you might agree with it policy wise. Also, there will be no infrastructure bill, it will be big wall street tax cuts dressed up as infrastructure. Bernie, stop being bamboozled.

- Someone from the Democratic caucus really should have shouted and shouted a lot at every chance, someone needed to disrupt his campaign rally dressed as a Join Address.

- Trump only mentioned Chicago three times, my over under was 4.5 mentions.

- Those statues of Trump where he no testicles were totally inaccurate. You do need huge balls to lecture folks about pettiness and the need for unity and you need nuts the size of bowling balls to invite the widow of what is essentially your own personal Benghazi and to make political hay out of it. Could anyone even imagine if a President Hillary Clinton invited the spouse of someone killed in Benghazi to her first joint address?

- The most disturbing part of his appech (so many to choose from) was his proposal to create VOICE but it should not be too shocking, AM radio has been doing the victims of immigrant crime schtick for 20 years now and like Trump they really love to play up a black, native born family tragic lose.

One of the Dem lawmakers who is standing or applauding for Trump's lines the most is Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a Hawaii Congresswoman

You'll see why purity test are horrible. Tulsi is a supposed member of the "Bernie Wing", a "progressive", but wanted in on this administration, and is a damb warhawk.

Can you please expand on this? Thanks.

I wonder how the generals felt with Trump lying about the raid and using a dead soldier as a pawn

Wait....is this something conservative talk radio has been doing for years now??? I'm not someone that would ever listen to AM conservative talk radio so I had no idea this is a thing

Jesus Christ we've got a president that watches fox news all day while scoffing at intelligence briefing and wants to turn AM radio fear tactics to an actual office.
