if nothing huge comes from mueller's investigation, imma be heated.

"One individual who is familiar with an aspect of the Mueller inquiry but asked to not be named told New York that, unlike other federal probes that he’s seen in action, where prosecutors build their cases from clear allegations, this one feels different. 'This is a backward investigation,' the individual said. 'You don’t have a crime.'"

just hope Democrats aint pushing another light weight for 2020... heh.

The Trump hate is almost to Obama levels ... The delusional, nonsensical nitpicking at everything the guy does ... A damn shame ...

I'll say the same thing I said in '08, no one stupid becomes the president of the United States ... Now Trump isn't an orator, but he sure as hell knows what he's doing ... even if what he's doing is allowing others to run his admin and make detailed decisions ... he is still effective as hell ...

I think the greatest fallout from his presidency will be a more informed public ... people are more aware and in tune with politics than ever and that is a good thing ... I also think if he gets tax reform and the wall done with a benign change to Obamacare he will be re-elected ...
  Ok buddy.

If you think the hate for Obama and Trump here equivalent in their cause, you probably can't be reasoned with.

Most of Trump accomplishment have been deregulation for the shake of deregulation.

What on earth ever gave you the idea that Trump "sure as hell knows what he's doing"? The man is mentally deficient at best. When you look at him ~5 years ago there's a very noticeable difference between his speech patterns. It seems like somewhere in the past recent years he has had a steep decline in his cognitive abilities. Have you ever read a Trump transcript?
Nobody can read a Trump transcript and somehow rationalize that he has any idea of what he's talking about it. He can barely string a sentence together, let alone articulate or even grasp complex topics.

Whenever he tries to talk about something more complex than calling his opponents silly nicknames it's painfully obvious he's way out of his depth and doesn't have the slightest clue of what he's rambling about. Period.

SMH WOW

The GOP snitching on themselves once again.

“It’s a great talking point when you have an administration that’s Democrat-led,” said Representative Mark Walker, Republican of North Carolina and the chairman of the Republican Study Committee, a group of about 150 conservative House members. “It’s a little different now that Republicans have both houses and the administration.”

The "clarification" even makes it worst imo...

A spokesperson for Walker clarifies to me that he isn’t saying personally that he believes the deficit is just a talking point that should be ditched now that Donald Trump is in the White House, but he does fear that some of his colleagues see it that way — citing the bipartisan debt ceiling deal as an example of insufficient debt fervor.

Dems should never fall for this garbage again about the deficit. When it comes time to past that EIC expansion and healthcare bill, remember the worlds of that nefarious bastard **** Chaney.....deficits don't matter . They have never mattered to the modern GOP. Load the fiscal yoppa with leftist economic bullets, and let it sing.

can someone on Team Econ explain to me how this new tax plan that trump is proposing will impact what I pay in taxes? I know Rusty is busy with wedding planning (I hear he's taking ballroom lessons with Tomi tonight) but maybe Rex can help me out?

Just some basic info: I make about $31k per year in income plus about $217.13 a year in reselling purchased goods. I have a lot in investments (gold, clothing, etc) probably surpassing $100k in value (can I deduct these purchases like my friends do with a 401k?). I don't pay for rent so I'm not sure how the changes in mortgage payment deductions will affect me.

I was seriously gonna response to you too

This was gold

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/09/...l-hear-case-on-mandatory-fees-to-unions.html?

If you are a member of a union that voted for Trump. Even a public union.

Or a leftist that protest voted Clinton

Congrats once again, you played yaself.

Can you please explain this comment? Doesn't this technically mean they will become Right to Work States and will receive the same benefits but it will be up to the individual to decide if they want to pay dues?

Basically their are people that are not union members (this is common in the public sector like teachers) that are required to pay some union dues because they benefit from the collective bargaining activities of said union. Some people want to freeload, basically get the benefit of a union negotiating in their favor but not pay dues to help support the union. This will give them a option to opt out. So yeah, it is kinda like right to work.

SCOTUS will probably rule that these people can't be required to pay the union dues, which cuts off a major funding source for unions. As a result they will be weaken even further. And for labor rights and income inequality, that is a very bad thing.

Nice cherry picking. Here's the full quote.
“This is a backward investigation,” the individual said. “You don’t have a crime. You’re searching. And so you’re not really sure exactly what you’re searching for. So you start asking around and you see what comes up. And you start creating a paradigm and you see what else comes up and figure out at some point whether or not there’s a crime.”
Either you can't read or you intentionally misrepresent facts.
