Is the Orange Bigot taking shots at the Puerto Rican Mayor in the midst of a humanitarian crisis....when you think he can't go any lower, he continues to surprise us.

Get "their workers" he realize those workers are American citizens right? so are they not his workers too?

I really believe he doesn't understand that they are citizens.

He keeps talking about the situation like he's being generous and they should be thankful the US is helping them out at all.

Has anyone in this discussion ever changed anyone else's mind? It seems that this discussion, at least since I have been it, has been completely partisan. The same people who have been liberal for years are still that way... and the same conservatives are conservative. I can pretty much guess what each side will say whenever an article is posted.
This.

He doesn't. He sees them as colonial subjects that are black, brown, and debt ridden. There isn't any value he can get out of them so they don't matter.

Don is 20000% RIGHT about Puerto Rico. They AREN'T EVEN Americans so why should we care. Tired of countries unaffiliated with REAL AMERICA begging for handouts. Totally wrong MINDSET from the mayor. Libbies DON'T HAVE a clue about EXECUTIVE BRANCH of government.

I got dudes that voted for him, that I've known for years, hitting me up on IG like "damn he's killing me" after those tweets

Maybe because he's Puerto Rican himself? The day the wind stops blowing will be the day Trump starts attacking the rent control laws...COUNT IT.

I'm loving it. I'm trolling my PR Trump supporters hard. Y'all weren't thinking about family in PR when u voted for the bigot

I love how some ppl fancy themselves scientists

Was seeing some comments float around the internet.

Saying how this is not global warming. The earth just goes through cycles, they say. That it might be warm now but it'll get back to normal soon enough

When you ask for sources they can't give it to you

I can't sometimes

there's not enough truck drivers on da island to move da freight from da container ships stranded on da ports...and da ones that are there want a premium for their services.

Orlando basically ate da Puerto Rican population.

its just politics, its not a gang

Nah. Ninja, Trump has gone past politics and into promoting racism and hate crimes and trying to divide the country at every twist and turn.

He is an awful human being, and anyone who supports him is awful too.

Bush was just a dummy and ignorant but I never thought of him as a terrible person. McCain was a guy with integrity that went off into the deep end running his campaign. Romney was just a rich guy that wanted to be President.

Trump is just an evil person and anyone that supports him is evil too.

Got some hospital bills today from my dad's hospitalization for a little over a month. He didn't have his work insurance anymore but I thought it'd be more. Roughly €13000 was charged to his "health union" as we call it here. It's technically a form of insurance but is generally referred to as the health union. There's a couple of them to choose from but membership to one is mandatory. The health unions significantly reduce pretty much all medical costs, leaving a relatively small portion for the patient to pay out of pocket. However that patient cost can be covered by a true insurance program (public or private), mine being private 100% coverage. So in my case I get all my money back for everything my private insurance covers, which is just about everything.
However in my dad's case he had always had his 100% coverage employer insurance from Allianz and since he was fired around the end 2016, the health union was his only form of insurance for the hospital bills. Considering he spent around a month and ~1 week or so in the hospital including 2 days in ICU, I assumed I'd be getting a rather large bill but it's not all that bad. Of the €13000 charged to the health union, the patient cost is €3304.

Again, this is reflected in our very high tax rate (which I don't mind) but I firmly believe that our healthcare system is nothing short of excellent and worth paying for in our taxes.

I still have quite a few friends and acquaintances that voted for Trump that it hasn't effected my relationship with them. It is just I let them know what a callous sucka they were, I am not combative at all in real life but it is pretty easy to point out to someone how much Trump played them or how they just gave into tribalism. Most wish someone else was president. Though we still disagree on policy.

I am friends with no Trump supporters. I aired out the few of them I was somewhat cool with. I mean if you at this point still support in incompetent, corrupt, white supremacist, bigot, you are definitely all those things too, maybe worst. So I want nothing to do with you.

Being stubborn, or ignorant, is no longer a valid excuse.

Agreed. A person cannot continue to support Trump unless they are those things.

There's no such thing as "just politics". Politics has a very tangible impact on everyone's lives. The decisions made by those that we vote for can and often do affect those who come after us. The higher the position, the greater the impact. It's not a game, it's not entertainment, it's people's lives.
