I know this isn't necessarily political, but Tesla is in for a world of hurt here. First the CyberJunk recall, and now this.



I think those automated truck drivers for 18 wheelers that Andrew Yang was on about might be further away than we think.
Anyone, ANYONE with the most cursory knowledge of safety regulations knew that autopilot promises in an environment occupied by humans behaving in human ways were bull****. It was only a question of "when" not "if" these cars would kill someone outside the vehicles. Major regulatory changes would have to happen in order to make self-driving cars safe for the public, and that may even include segregating them from human-operated vehicles/roads.
